Before calling Burien home, Dr. Lam grew up in Orange County, California. He earned his dental degree from the renowned Temple University in Philadelphia where he treated a diverse patient base and gained exposure to all facets of dentistry. Dr. Lam also completed a one-year postdoctoral residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at Wichita State University. During this program, he gained skills in various specialized areas of dentistry including the art of placing dental implants and the intricacies of root canal treatment.
Dr. Lam also values providing dentistry to underserved communities. He started his dental journey volunteering at UCSD student-run dental clinics, which inspired his interest in dentistry. He served twice with the Mission of Mercy in Philadelphia, PA and in Salinas, KS, and he also volunteers annually at the King County Dental Clinic at Key Arena. Dr. Lam is honored to reinvest in his community and continue helping the underserved.
When not busy attending continuing education courses to enhance his dental knowledge and skills, Dr. Lam likes to spend his free time exploring the beautiful Pacific Northwest. He enjoys taking in the expansive food scene in Seattle, photography, and cooking.

I am here to welcome and care for you with the respect you deserve. My dental career began in orthodontics as a chairside assistant in 1988. My favorite seasons are fall, winter, and spring. I love living in the Pacific Northwest because of the fresh air, rain, and beautiful beaches. I enjoy paper crafting with friends.
I have been a dental assistant since 1992. I received training from Puget Sound Skills Center, Lake Washington Technical College and I have years of continuing education. I always listen to our patients concerns and make them feel as comfortable as I can during their dental treatment. My two children, Valerie and Derek, fill my life with joy and laughter. As a family, we enjoy hiking in the mountains, toes in the sand at Long Beach, local theme festivals, and classic car shows.
I have been a dental hygienist at this office for over 25 years, and love interacting with the great patients, Doctor, and team I get to work with. I am blessed to be able to provide our patients with the latest technology, training, and science available in a pleasant, low stress environment. My husband and I have two daughters. One is training to become a commercial airlines pilot and the other is training to be a CNA. During my off hours, I enjoy hiking, movies, helping care for my mother, and most of all I love playing games, chatting & relaxing with my friends and family. My plans for the future=more traveling!
