I had a more-difficult crown replacement. Dr. Ross really handled the deadening shot well. He was very considerate of any pain and did a wonderful job. Highly recommended.

This is a great family owned and operated practice. Dr. Ruder has been around the area practicing forever. He has a great reputation. All the old locals know him. I've worked in this particular practice before and Dr. Ruder is so good at what he does, but he also makes his patients feel at home. Doc, his wife Melanie, and sons all take what they do very seriously. They're very likeable people who do great dental work.

I have brought my 3 children here for regular dental visits - for at least 7 years ..... and trusted that the dentists and hygienists were being honest with me about the oral health of my children's teeth. Unfortunately, my little boy (5 years old) fell while going up the stairs and knocked his front teeth loose and split his tongue open - on a weekend. Was disappointed that Seacrest Dental does NOT have an emergency contact ..... so we had to find an emergency dentist. Luckily we found the most amazing dentist - who took time out of her weekend to see my little boy. She advised us with regard to his split tongue and teeth. Our awesome experience with her lead us to switch dentists ..... which turned out to be a blessing in disguise. Took all three of my children to the new dentist - only to find out that they all have cavities that have gone un-noticed and un-treated. I have always brought my children to have their teeth cleaned regularly (since 2 years old). My youngest has EIGHT cavities ..... and we were just at Seacrest Dental 5 months ago. Dr. Ruder and the hygienist told us that his teeth looked perfect - and that he was doing a GREAT JOB brushing! WTH? Now, I'm having to see a pediatric specialist so as not to traumatize my little boy with extensive dental work at 5 years old. My middle child had a cavity filled at Seacrest Dental..... and when we came back 6 months later for her next check-up, the dentist informed me that she had another cavity ..... THE SAME ONE! It had to be re-filled (at my expense, of course). What is the purpose of having a cavity filled - if it has to be filled again 6 months later?? Oh - and when the dentist went to fill it the second time, he told me that he did "the best that he could, because the wire from her braces was in the way."!!! WHAT? Oldest child had chipped her tooth on her water bottle. When I asked the dentist about it, was told that it would file down on its own .... not to worry. New dentist had to fill it today - because a cavity had started forming. New dentist advised us to have the orthodontist remove her wire prior to having it filled - so they could get the best results. (Too bad Seacrest Dental doesn't advise their patients to do the same). Was also informed that her teeth are decalcifying and they gave us tips for correcting that issue. IMO - Seacrest dental is RE-active rather that PRO-active. They are more than happy for you to get cavities, so they can fill them .... possibly more than once. Very disappointed that we TRUSTED these dentists. We spent a lot of money on exams that were inadequate .... even MORE disappointed that they have set up my children for a lifetime of dental anxiety.

I went to Seacrest Dental while out on a clinical rotation in the area. It was very easy to schedule my appointment. The office is welcoming and their staff is very knowledgeable. Effie was my hygienist and Dr Ross was my dentist, both of them made my visit pleasant and I would go back to them for any of my dental needs while out on my future rotations!

This dentist is the best of the best! I had extensive dental work, all gain, NO pain. Hate the needle more than anything, did not even feel the needle. I drive 12 hours from IL, worth the drive. ( I do have a condo rental here) but honestly, would drive here if needed more work done. The staff treats you with kindness from the time you walk in till good bye. His honesty is a real plus, does not sell you a mouth of crowns etc. Can't brag enough, end of story. Thank you Dr. And Staff.

Fantastic staff and customer service. I am vacationing in the area and called in last minute when a filling fell out. They were able to take me in right away, and they were extremely friendly and efficient. Price was also fair, and the shop was clean.

Awful dentist. The man barely checked my teeth. The next time I came to his office, I didn't even see an actual dentist. My friend also had to leave his office because he missed 3 cavities that her son had. They are also constantly charging me even though I have 2 insurances. Never coming back!

Shari was friendly and kind. Fred was busy; I was a number not a person...thought that's why I left the city. My teeth are clean and it was efficient.
