Originally from New England, Dr. Thompson completed her undergraduate education at Tufts University near Boston before moving to the Bay Area to pursue a dental degree. She received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of California at San Francisco in 2003, where she was honored with several awards and a scholarship for her work in dental research and community service.

UC San Francisco is also where Dr. Thompson met her husband Zach, a Santa Cruz native who shares her passionfor healthcare and love of the outdoors. After completing their training in and around California, they decided to settle near Zach's childhood home, where they are now raising a family of their own.

Over the past 14 years, Dr. Thompson has practiced general dentistry in both private practice and non-profit settings. Passionate that everyone should have access to quality dental care, Dr. Thompson served as a dentist at a local a non-profit dental center, providing oral health services to those in need in Santa Cruz County. After becoming Dental Director of the organization, she continued her work on a larger scale by creating mobile dental programs that deliver on-sitecare to low income students, pregnant women and seniors in the Santa Cruz area- so those individuals do not have to take time off of work and school, or wait for transportation to get the care they need.

In her private practice, Dr. Thompson enjoys providingdental care to people of all ages. She understands that going to the dentist might not be your favorite activity, but her goal is to make the experience as convenient and comfortable as possible.She strives to provide a patient-centered dental experience- where patient and doctor work together to develop a plan for health- whether those needs include prevention, improving function or enhancing a smile. Committed to providing the best and most up to date care possible for her patients, Dr. Thompson completes over 30 hours of continuing education per year including courses in pediatric dentistry, dental implants, endodontics and oral surgery.

Born and raised in Santa Cruz County, Juliett attended San Lorenzo Valley High School before deciding on a career in Dentistry. After graduating from the Dental Assisting program at Bryman College in San Jose, she received her RDA (Registered Dental Assistant) license in 1997. Juliett has been practicing for the past 20 years, and has experience in all phases of dental care, including prevention, pediatric dental care, implant placement and restoration. She says the best part of her job is helping to put her patients at ease while under her care.

Juliett is married to her high school sweetheart Jarrod, with whom she shares two wonderful sons. In their free time, the family enjoys swimming, camping, dirt bike riding, concerts, BBQ's and spending time in all the natural beauty Santa Cruz has to offer.

Dora is our Front Office Administrator at Seabright Dental Studio. She supports our practice and our patients from the initial phone call to the completion of treatment and keeps our patients on schedule with they're preventative care. Dora started in the dental field 17 years ago and enjoys the interaction with patients, making them feel welcomed and comfortable with the care that they deserve. She strives to help our patients navigate the often complex world of dental benefit insurance to make sure the patient understands the benefits they have.

Dora is a native Californian and grew up in the Bay Area prior to moving here to Santa Cruz in 2006. She has two children , both of whom graduated from Harbor High School and have become successful in their adult life.Dora enjoys music , movies , good food and good company. After so many weekends coming 'over the hill' to visit our beautiful bit of paradise she would never imagine going back to the hustle and bustle . Dora truly loves what she does here and looks forward to what lies ahead.

Cathy is a Registered Dental Hygienist here at our office. She graduated from Cabrillo College with high honors and was the recipient of the Student Total Achievement Recognition Award for her dedication to the Profession of Dental Hygiene. After nearly fifteen years of experience in the field of dental hygiene, she still brings the same dedication to daily practice.

Outside of work Cathy is a busy mother of two young boys. Recent hobbies with her boys include listening to music, learning how to yo-yo, and trying to identify pine trees based on their needles and cones. She also enjoys spending time at the beach, hiking in the woods, reading, napping, and eating cheese.

Diana is ourdental hygienist at the practice. Shewas lucky enough to fall into dentistry at the age of 18. Shebegan as a dental assistant right out of high school in Hawaii, where shehad grown up. Dianaattended Cabrillo College later on and graduated in Dental Hygiene in 1977. She has worked in four awesome family dental practices over the last 42 years. From the Big Island in Hawaii to Santa Cruz, she hasalways felt the Aloha in what shedoes.

Diana loves talking with her patients, getting to know them and their families. Shefeels good about helping them find what works best for them in their oral health to be able to maintain a healthy mouth. A large part of herwork day consists of educating patients in oral health. She believes it is a journey to be faced together. In her personal time sheenjoy the outdoors, back-packing, hiking, swimming, relaxing, and now reading. She issemi-retired and enjoying traveling and spending time with friends and family.

Leslie is a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) in our office. She has 18 years of dental experience beginning with obtaining her Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license in 2003 from the Regional Occupational Program in Riverside, CA. While working as an assistant, she developed a love for dentistry and wanted to advance her clinical skills and scope of practice. In 2008, she earned a Bachelors of Science degree in Public Health from CSU of San Bernardino. She graduated from the dental hygiene program with Cabrillo College in 2010 in which she was also awarded the Golden Scaler Award. The award is 'given to a student who has achieved excellence and high standings in clinical dental hygiene. She seeks to educate and motivate her patients for a lifetime of oral and systemic health and is proactive in invoking positive patient experiences. She volunteers annually for local dental health events and is an active member with the California Dental Hygienists Association.

Angela is our bright and energetic scheduling coordinator here at Seabright Dental Studio. She has a can-do attitude that can't be topped. She worked for almost two decades supporting her community in the banking industry and hopes that her inexhaustible enthusiasm will make your dental experience at our studio a positive, professional, and enjoyable one. She was born and raised in Peru, South America, and has two wonderful sons. Marley is her adorable Rhodesian Ridgeback pup whom you might see running with her on the upper west side.

Savanna is our public relations liaisonhere at Seabright Dental Studio. She greets all patients with a warm smile and pleasant conversation. Her goal is to make sure everypatientleaves the office feeling great about their experience here at Seabright Dental Studio.

Originally from Texas, Savanna attended The University of Texas and earned a bachelor's degree in political science in 2015. After college, Savanna moved to St. Thomas, USVI, working as an administrative assistant to a CEO of a hedge fund. After much travel and adventure, she has settled down in Santa Cruz with herhusband,Bryce, their two horses,andtheir sweetSiberianHusky. Together they love to hike, camp, ride horses, play sports, or do anything that keeps them active.
