My 3 children have been patients here for years. We like Dr Lapresti. Last years visit, we saw a different dentist at the practice, and she gave no feedback. For the next appointment, I specifically asked for Dr Lapresti. We still ended up seeing a different dentist. Additionally, my youngest was due for sealants. The older two had them put on with no issues. This time, the experience was horrific due to the dental assistant. She opened my child's jaw way too far. So far that I thought her inside corner of her lips would crack. She cried the whole time. No compassion from the dental tech. I asked if the contractor for the mouth could be closed some and was told no. I know that is a lie, I work in the medical field. There is a limit when the kids jaw is locked out and she is trying to pry the contractor out of her mouth. My daughter only got one area of sealant on and I won't reschedule this this lady. Now my daughter is scared of the the dentist and her jaw is so painful. The office staff is great but it there is a revolving door of dental techs. It's hard to find one that truly should work with pediatrics .

They are great with the kids and I'm so grateful the dentist and staff are so nice to the parents, atleast that's been my experience. Much appreciated, M. Bixby

Hygienist Kayla was excellent with Brooklyn who wouldn't allow anyone to clean her teeth or do xrays the last time. This visit was a huge success. Kayla explained and showed everything to Brooklyn prior to doing anything to assure her it was not going to hurt, she did a wonderful job. Thank You Kayla for giving Brooklyn the confidence in herself and breaking the fear of the dentist.

We moved out to WC and we're looking for a new dentist. We were recommended Sea of Smiles so made an appt here! The inside is so cute and they have TVs set up for the kids. My 3 yr old is terrified of doctors/dentists and they were so patient and accommodating with him. His last dentist in new port Richey (palm tree dentistry BEWARE) called him a baby and a chicken because he was crying. Sea of smiles was so wonderful with him and also my 6 yr old daughter. They explained all of the tools and went slow and were respectful. We just went for the first time yesterday but I'm really glad we did. I would recommend this place to everyone else with kids!

Be prepared to wait a while. Both times I came with my son we had to wait 30-40 minutes to be called back.

Took my daughter here for her first dentist appointment. I was very nervous because she typically has a lot of anxiety at doctor offices-- crying to the point of vomiting sometimes. She went running in!The hygienist was AMAZING! Even when my daughter started getting upset and scared, she quickly was able to calm her down and get her to willingly cooperate. My daughter didn't even pay attention to me and I was in the same room! Huge win! It was an absolutely perfect experience and I'm so glad we decided to choose Sea of Smiles.
