Dr. Amanda began her higher education at Syracuse University where she studied biology and economics. She then completed a dual degree at the University of Pennsylvania, receiving a master's degree in public health and a doctorate in dental medicine. At Temple University, Dr. Amanda went on to complete her pediatric training. She always knew she wanted to go into pediatrics and found herself drawn to dentistry because of the artistry, creativity, and the patient interaction it allows.
Dr. Amanda hopes to be able to make all of her patients and families feel as comfortable as possible while delivering the best quality of care. Working with kids allows Dr. Amanda to exercise her imagination and have fun with her patients.Dr. Amanda hopes to be known for her excellent parallel parking skills and her work in community outreach. While at University of Pennsylvania, she created an organization called Day Id Service that allows students to volunteer in the Philadelphia community. Through this program, she was able to volunteer with the Ronald McDonald House, Philabundance, Morris Animal Refuge, Books Through Bars, the Spring Into Health Community Fair, Families Forward, and the YMCA.

I can't say enough great things about Sea of Smiles. They were recommended by a family friend, who has two kids that go here and have always had a wonderful experience. When I called to schedule our first appointments, they got my two kids in for a same-day appointment. My first impression upon getting there was that the office is gorgeous! It is so clean, modern and decorated to be so inviting for kids. We were called right back, without any wait time, which was great. Dr. Tony and the hygienists were sweet, patient, and really made both of my kids feel at ease. The appointment was quick and I left feeling confident that my kids are in great hands with this dentistry. We are so pleased to have found such an amazing pediatric dentist, I only wish I would've found them sooner! Edit: My kids have since seen Dr. Mukund as well and he is amazing. He is so patient with my kids, (even when they are not being the easiest to deal with!), he takes the time to throughly explain everything and he really cares. I can't thank him enough for the great care he has provided my family with!

My boys love Sea of Smiles! We switched from another pediatric dentistry and has no regrets. I highly recommend it. Everybody who works there does an amazing job with kids!

Had a great experience here! The staff here are so patient, and you can tell they love working with kids. Dr. Jacob was amazing and thorough, and he was really great with my two kids. I'd definitely recommend this practice to anyone!

Sea of Smiles is AMAZING!!!! My kids have no problem going to them at all for their cleanings and check-ups. They actually leave there asking when they'll be going back. Can't say enough great things about Dr. Jacob!!! Thank you!!!

My son loves this place. Best in the business when it comes to kids dental services. Staff and Doctors there are great, the experience helps to kid my son smiling from the second he steps foot in the office!!! Highly recommended!!!

By far the best dental experience we have ever had. The word "dentist" would throw my normally calm 5 year old into a complete meltdown. Dr. Jacob and the rest of the team treated her with such kindness and respect, that after 1 visit she almost looked forward to coming. We just got home from her second appointment, and even after a number of fillings she still thinks her dentist is the best. I would give 10 stars if I could! Thank you Dr Jacob, and the rest of the team!

Dr. Jacob and the Sea of Smiles staff are absolutely wonderful! They made our nervous daughter's first ever dentist visit a great experience. So much so, she asked to go back! The calming, nurturing environment was so inviting and welcoming. The staff was patient and so very kind. Plus, Dr. Jacob's caring demeanor and fun songs kept my daughter's nerves at bay! I would highly recommend Sea of Smiles.

We visited the Warrington location, everything was very clean, well organized, no wait time. The staff was pleasant from the front desk to the back. Dr. Jacob was very informative and caring, the hygienist Inna was very friendly and knowledgeable. We will definitely come back and see them again. My son left the office smiling.

My 5 year old is excited leading up to his appointments. He tells me it's his favorite office and happily goes each time. The staff are so welcoming. They create a friendly environment and take time to make sure your questions are answered and provide helpful guidance.
