Dr. Amanda began her higher education at Syracuse University where she studied biology and economics. She then completed a dual degree at the University of Pennsylvania, receiving a master's degree in public health and a doctorate in dental medicine. At Temple University, Dr. Amanda went on to complete her pediatric training. She always knew she wanted to go into pediatrics and found herself drawn to dentistry because of the artistry, creativity, and the patient interaction it allows.
Dr. Amanda hopes to be able to make all of her patients and families feel as comfortable as possible while delivering the best quality of care. Working with kids allows Dr. Amanda to exercise her imagination and have fun with her patients.Dr. Amanda hopes to be known for her excellent parallel parking skills and her work in community outreach. While at University of Pennsylvania, she created an organization called Day Id Service that allows students to volunteer in the Philadelphia community. Through this program, she was able to volunteer with the Ronald McDonald House, Philabundance, Morris Animal Refuge, Books Through Bars, the Spring Into Health Community Fair, Families Forward, and the YMCA.

What a great experience (Glenside location)! My 5 year old son is Autistic and non-verbal--- Dr Patel and staff were extremely kind and accommodating to my son's needs. The overall process, from making the appointment to completing our visit, was fantastic. Highly recommend!

Its comfortable and the staff is very polite and thorough! The receptionist was able to answer questions regarding billing and informed me of costs in relation to our insurance. I scheduled our 6 month appointment and I look forward to a long happy relationship.

My kids love visiting this dentist practice! The dentists, hygienists, receptionists, EVERYONE is so friendly and great with kids, the facility is new, clean, and kid-friendly, and my daughter always looks forward to getting her new tooth brush and prize. Totally recommend!

After a terrible and traumatic visit at another local dentist's office that ended in lots of tears (my son's AND mine!), I was on the hunt for a practice that was understanding and patient when it came to scared kids. The entire staff here is amazing and I wish I had found them sooner. They are caring, non-judgmental, and are experts with dealing with all types of children--from infants to school-aged kids. I can't recommend this location enough!

This was such a fantastic experience, I was extremely nervous about my daughters first dentist appointment just because I know how difficult it can be for kids and dentist. Check in: I received a text message and confirmed my appointment time and was told to come in via text. When I entered the office the front desk assistant was friendly and check in process was less than a minute. Our time in the waiting room was less than a minute. We went into room and was greeted by Dr.Patel and he first sat me down asked me about my concerns for her teeth and then went on to thoroughly explain what he would be doing and looking for during her oral exam as well as what i can do at home in regards to bottle and pacifier. I am extremely excited about having this office as my daughters dentist

This was my son's first visit to the dentist and it was an awesome experience. The location is perfect. The environment is extremely welcoming for both parent & child. Super clean. The staff were excellent: from the person at the front desk, to the dental hygienist, to the doctor - they made it a great experience. Looking forward to the follow up visit.

Our 4 year old had such an amazing experience with Dr. Jacob and his team! Her previous dental experience left her traumatized, but she truly felt comfortable with Dr. Jacob! She's actually looking forward to going back in 6 months! Thanks for being so kid-friendly!

Wow! The staff was incredibly kind and did a wonderful job explaining the processes to my kids. I am thrilled with the whole experience and my kindergartner even called it "fun"! I also appreciate the cleanliness of the space, even during building renovations. We will be referring other parents to this office. Thank you!

We're new to the area and took all 3 of my kids here and was pleasantly surprised at how clean, covid-safe and friendly they were. Dr Raj was thorough and communicative to both my kids and to me. Definitely recommend. Oh one last thing, my 10yr old son said he had fun at the dentist.

Just moved to the area and found this dentist for my 2 kids and they LOVED it! The waiting area was welcoming and had several screens for them to watch their favorite movie, Tangled. My girls felt safe and comfortable during the cleaning and I could tell the dentist and hygienist knew what they were doing. The appointment was quick and we were in and out within 30 minutes. My girls can't wait for their next appointment in 6 months.

Highly recommend this location and Dr. Raj! Great staff and care!!! My daughter is high risk and we had to switch dentists for this reason. Best decision ever! Covid protocol here was top notch! Dr. Raj was compassionate, patient, and attentive with my daughter. Excessive care her previous dentist wanted to do, was proven to be unnecessary by Dr. Raj. We couldn't ask for a better dentist and experience!

Dr. Raj is truly the best! Our son is pretty sensitive when it comes to new experiences, sensations and sounds. He needed to have some work done and Dr. Raj made him feel extremely comfortable and allowed him to try a more gentle approach TWICE, which was then ultimately successful. His patience with our son allowed him to avoid more invasive (and expensive) options. We can't recommend him and his practice enough. We look forward to him being our primary provider for all 3 of our boys. His passion for his work and the care of his patients is undeniable.

Wonderful pediatric dentist! Everyone there is friendly and helpful, and they all made sure my special needs child was calm and comfortable. The facility is brand new, and sparkling clean. Appointment times are available after school and there were no issues with taking my childs insurance. I'm so glad they've opened an office near us!

We loved it go here!!! My visit today with my 2 young sons went great. There was no wait. I was seen on time, which is very important when you have young kids. It was clean and the front desk gentleman was so pleasant and helpful. Having pleasant front desk is so very important. I have come across some miserable and rude front desk people in my life.Dr and hygienist were very informative and pleasant. Explained things thoroughly and didn't mind answering my questions. This was our first visit and i recommend this place to anyone who wants great service and no crazy wait time.
