Dr. Katie Stewartjoined Sea of Smiles Pediatric Dentistry in July 2008. She completed her pediatric dental residency at Case Western Reserve University, where she served as Chief Resident in her final year. Dr. Katie received her dental education from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry, where she graduated Cum Laude. She also earned an Associate Degree in Business Administration from Miami University.

Dr. Katie and her husband, Jason, have two sons, Colin & Dylan. They also have two dogs. In their spare time, they enjoy being outdoors, traveling, scuba diving and spending time with their friends and family.
Dr. Sarah Hustedjoined Sea of Smiles Pediatric Dentistry in 2012. She received her dental education from The West Virginia University School of Dentistry and her specialty training at the Childrens Hospital of Pittsburgh where she served as Chief Resident in her final year. She has also completed an Advanced Education General Dentistry Residency Program at the WVU Charleston Area Medical Center prior to her pediatric dental training in Pittsburgh.

Dr. Sarah and her husband, Ryan, have three children, Charlie, Katherine, and Philip.The Husteds love to spend their free time doing almost anything outside, cooking up big meals with friends and family, and traveling.
Dr. Davereceived his undergraduate education at Xavier University, a Masters degree at Wright State University College of Medicine and his degree in dentistry at The Ohio State University. He completed a residency in Pediatric Dentistry and a fellowship in Developmental Disorders at Cincinnati Childrens Hospital Medical Center where he has served on the clinical faculty for many years. Dr. Dave has worked for the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry serving to write the board examination, as an examiner and Director of the Continuing Quality of Improvement requirements. Dr. Dave is the author of the reference book The Manual of Pediatric Dentistry and other publications. Dr. Dave is a Fellow of the American College of Dentists, one of the highest honors from the American Dental Association awarded for the highest clinical excellence and ethics.
Dr. Dave has been a consultant to Xavier Universitys Athletic Departments medical staff, worked with the Cincinnati and Hamilton County Board of Health, Proctor and Gamble, Eukanuba pet foods and others. He is the dentist for the animals at the Cincinnati Zoo and has treated animals from Siegfried and Roy, circuses and zoos throughout the country. He enjoys his family, sports and learning.

They were amazing! Explained everything and answered every question. Excellent care- made things so easy with my two year old having to have a tooth pulled. 10/10 would recommend

Dr. John has the best bedside manner there. He is incredibly patient and makes sure the child is comfortable every step of the way. My kids suffer from anxiety and he always able to put them at ease. Highly recommend!

Dr. John is so nice and progressional. My 3 year old had a wonderful experience. Thankful for such a child friendly pediatrician dentist in our area. Sea of smiles is the best!

As a dentist they have been good. What is aggravating is they will not provide service if you don't have insurance. The recent instance my kids had an appointment and the receptionist called me, while I was driving to work, to get my new insurance information and wouldn't allow me to get to my destination to look up the information. She was very pushy. Customers beware.

We had a great experience during our visit however, the receptionist Stephanie and Crystal are very rude! Prior to our visit I asked what the cost for the visit would be and provide my insurance information. We'd just come from another dentist and didn't want to be double charged. They told me nothing. I went to the appointment and received an estimate via email for treatment and when I asked them why I would need to pay and I have insurance they told me this was normal. I called my insurance company and found out they aren't in our network. I asked them why wasn't this disclosed and Stephanie was RUDE! She would not listen to what I was saying, she didn't understand that they were wrong for not telling me the insurance was out of network when I asked, she mocked me to her coworker by removing the phone from her ear but not mouth, and ultimately hung up on me. Before she hung up she told me it's in the financial agreement that they don't take my insurance. I own up to me not reading it I just wanted her to own up to not telling me when I asked if she knows this. Again, she was extremely rude and loud and nasty. The office is beautiful but Stephanie is a piece of work.

We have been here for 4 years with Dr Katie and wouldn't go anywhere else. She has a great way of working with kids and takes wonderful care of them. The office is prompt and always answered all my questions.

Jessica was Wonderful with my autistic grandson! Lisa, the other hygienist even ask how she was able to calm him, and let her work on him. It was pretty dramatic. Dr John was great! Saying they would take as much time as needed. Thanks so much

Everyone was great here when my daughter fell and injured her mouth while we were at a family event in the area. After calling, we were seen within 2 hours and each person we interacted with helped my daughter feel comfortable for her first (although emergent) dental appointment. I would highly recommend and if we lived in the area would be a returning patient.

When you leave the dentist office and your 5 year old says she loved it there and that she could go back everyday. That says something about the care we received and how kind and caring they were. She's the biggest critic so that's truly saying something.

I am especially grateful for the way you treat my son who was diagnosed with autism. Your patience with him over the years has helped him gain a new confidence that he can get through a dental cleaning, and he even smiles now as he's able to enjoy all of the encouragement and attention from everyone. I cannot imagine a more supportive, patient, and encouraging environment for my son. Thank you for helping make our dentist visits so pleasant for Matt! My daughter just had an orthodontic emergency, but her orthodontist was already closed for the weekend. We called Dr.. John, and he had us come and they fixed my daughter's braces. We couldn't believe how nice everyone was, and we were so grateful that they got her immediately in when I told them that she was in pain.

We had our first visit and it was better than I could've imagined. First off the aesthetic of this place is perfect for kids. It takes the anxiousness away as soon as they see the cool under the sea theme. It doesn't feel like you're at the dr. My kids were so excited they forgot they were even scared. The TV above the exam chair is genius. My child sat and watched agape before the exam even started . The hygienist and dr were great. Upon completion of our visit my kids were all given bags with awesome tooth brushes, floss, toothpaste, and a little toy. I am very pleased with this establishment and look forward to continuing our tenure with them!

Sea of Smiles was wonderful today with my 3 year old. The past couple of visits he wasn't' the best for them... As always, his hygienist was patient and explained things in such a way that he laid back in the chair, wore the sunglasses, had his teeth cleaned, and even took x-rays! Dr. Katie was great in getting him back in the chair for a second round of sunglasses to finish up and shared how proud she was of him! Bravo Sea of Smiles - you're doing a fantastic job. Thank you!
