I trained at Loma Linda University School of Dentistry. I went on to complete my residency in orthodontics at the prestigious University of California at San Francisco. I have worked in the Bay Area as well as in Southern California, ensuring I am at the forefront of all orthodontic technologies to best serve you.
I was an organic chemist prior to my career in orthodontics. I completed my dental and orthodontictraining at Loma Linda University School of Dentistry. I have taught the dental students and residents at Loma Linda University for over 10 years. I have been in private practice for nearly 20 years. Iopened my first office in Highland, CA in 2006 andmy practice here in Glendale, CA in 2011.
I am proud to have both of my offices designed to provide direct doctor-to-patient care to ensure you are getting the best treatment. We provide each patient the attention and care they deserve and treat them as our own family.

My son really likes the impressive variety of color rubber bands to choose from for the braces. He also appreciates the way the doctor very gently replaces the bands every month. Big beautiful smiles all around!

Dr. Marianne is amazing! She's very knowledgeable and helped me feel confident that my overbite can improve when other orthos may have said otherwise. I've been seeing great progress with my invisaligns so far. Also, their office is always so welcoming and everyone is so nice. Roxy has great customer service. Overall, great service and kind people.

I absolutely love my teeth! Thank you to Samuel Demirdji DDS, MS, PhD and all his staff. Everyone here is so sweet and flexible, anyone who wants to get braces should definitely come here. They're the best!

My brother and I have had a wonderful experience with the SD orthodontics family for the past 3 years! I would look forward to every appointment each month, Dr. Sam and Dr. Marianne made the process fun! They were able to correct my underbite with braces, when other opinions informed me that I needed to undergo a complicated procedure. I also loved that they were a family business. Overall, I definitely recommend SD orthos, I could not have asked for a better experience for my brother and I!

Dr. Marianne is the best orthodontist ever. She is professional, but very very friendly to me. I love coming to her office, and wouldn't want to get my braces from anyone else. Her experience was so easy and her sweet personality made it easy to actually enjoy coming to appointments. Our conversations about pop culture moments make the appointments that much more enjoyable. I never feel like i'm going to the orthodontist, but to a cousin's house.
