Best experience having a tooth pulled! I never expected such a pleasant experience!! I was very nervous going in but it went amazing. Virtually pain free & no discomfort during the entire procedure. Thank you Dr. Prisco, you are the best!!! (And this is coming from a person who has always had severe anxiety with dental procedures)

My experience with this office was not good at all! WHY?? here goes....first off i read reviews after i made the second appointment. that is not par for the course for me, but i'm glad i did bc it all made sense why my first visit was a disaster. i went in to see about getting a tooth pulled THAT day. no go! i made the mistake of saying i wanted to get more extensive work done at a later time. therefore, i was sent home not having any relief for the 1 bad tooth bc obviously it would have not been as profitable as the bigger job to be done if i decided to come back. i decided to give them 1 more try, mind you, this was after getting talked down to by the female in the office behind the receptionist. In a statement, Miss Miserable needs meds to calm her "happy" behind down. She had a serious attitude both at my visit and when i had to call and make the appointment. i called back and cancelled. I am not comfortable with that kind of treatment when i made sure to be respectful to her. her representation, as being of one of the first you encounter in the office, leaves a negative impression. Lastly, the 2 stars are for the younger lady in the front and for the dental assistant. You've been WARNED!!!

This is the worst dentist I have ever been to. It seemed as if they we're discriminating their quality of care based on how good your dental hygiene is. They came highly recommended from my brother, but when my mother and I both went in for our consultation about 2 weeks ago, there was no consulting. He rattled off a list of things to be done for my mom and told me I had to get 2 cavities filled, which I expected because an old one had fallen out. Without so much as another word they sent us on our way with another appointment. Today we went in with no idea what was happening. A cleaning? A filling? An extraction? As soon as I sat down the dental assistant started telling me what they were going to do, things I wasn't even aware of. As I was discussing it with her, the dentist came in and completely dismissed my concerns, saying they were 'running behind' so he wouldn't be working on my main problem and he had me lay down so he could numb me and then left. When my mother asked to come back with me, seeing as I'm a minor and I was scared; they said no, stating Covid concerns as the reason she couldn't see me. This was absolutely disgraceful seeing as we were the only patients who were actually following the Covid protocol in the office. I was confused and in tears when they came back and started working on my front teeth. After about 15 minutes of filing my teeth for no apparent reason he was done and I left with my mother who refused to be seen. I would never recommend anyone else to this dentist, who only provided me with a traumatic and unprofessional experience. If I could rate this Center 0 stars I would.

I'm transgender and they had to be corrected multiple times to call me the correct name and on my last visit which was today not a single person in the building said my name even once. They did the work just fine, just didn't really feel welcome at all.

They are the best one shot and your numb and the needle doesn't even hurt going in like other dentists!

I emailed Scranton Dental both via their website and direct email on August 7th. I explained that I was a fully vaccinated adult new in town and seeking a new dentist. I asked to schedule a cleaning and have a doctor look at a specific tooth experiencing pain. After several days of no response, I called. A secretary informed me: "We do not schedule appointments over the phone if it's an emergency or not, so we will put your name on a list and call you." I went elsewhere for treatment; however, seven weeks later, Scranton Dental failed to follow up. Clearly, they must have a lengthy list of prospective patients. Absolutely terrible.

I've been going to scranton dental center for just about 31yrs. This place is one of the best in the area. After Dr Burne retired the new Dr's took over with out missing a beat. This place is awesome at cleaning and dental work. If your looking for a pain free, friendly place this is one of the best. Thanks again scranton dental.

I would recommend Scranton Dental Center. Dr. Samuel J. Prisco is a great dentist. Luckily, I have not needed any dental work done, but I know I would be in good hands if I did. Karen is my hygienist and is really thorough. I ask a lot of questions since I really care about my dental health, and she's been extremely helpful. I got my cleaning and exam this week and my teeth feel great :)

I needed some dental work after chipping a molar tooth and I also had an issue with fillings I had done by a different dentist. Dr. Prisco filled my chipped molar and it looks and feels amazing. I was nervous about going to a new dentist but I am now happy with my choice.
