For fun, I love to spend time with my family. I am a father of three beautiful kids. The eldest is 7, the next is 5, and the youngest is almost 2. During our free time, we like to go out and ride bikes, go on walks, go on hikes, and just play in the pool with my family. I take my kids a lot to their grandparents house and they really enjoy it.
Ever since, I was interested in health, in general. My dad is a veterinarian and I grew up watching him do surgeries. This developed in me the love for medicine. It is my passion to help people solve their problems. I view dentistry as a good avenue to do that. I know how it feels to spend time in a dental chair and I just want to help people and to make the experience pleasant for them. I find it rewarding and fulfilling to see instant results, seeing people walk out with a new smile, and out of pain.
I spent my growing up years mostly in Globe, Arizona and in Fort Collins, Colorado. But after High School we moved to Gilbert, Arizona. I went to college at Colorado State for two years, and then continued and finished at ASU (Arizona State University) for my undergrad. Then I proceeded to Dental School at the University of Oklahoma. I graduated in 2009, so I have been practicing dentistry for 5 years already.
I enjoy working with all types of patients. General dentistry is my forte, but I also work with other aspects of dentistry. I simply enjoy working with people, creating a personal and close relationship with them every time I perform a treatment on them. This is what I find accomplishing.
Hi! Im Meryem Abbadi, Front Desk Receptionist at Scottsdale Dental. I chose the field of dentistry as a career because I grew up around it. My mom was a dental office manager for 20+ years. Being introduced to dentistry at a very young age, I found passion in it.
I currently live in Arizona with my cousin, aunt and uncle and couldnt have wished to be happier living with them. My hobbies include playing with makeup, especially doing cool gruesome looking makeup (as well as beautiful-looking makeup), and cooking. In the past for two whole years I used to do kickboxing, MMA, and cheerleading back-to-back.
My job requires me to stay up to date with new technology and new insurance types, and this is important because it helps both our office and our patients. If someone doesnt have dental insurance, Im the one that can offer them our Smiles Saving Plan or Care Credit options to help them with the costs.

I gave one star because I couldn't give zero. I am very disappointed to see 4.7 average but it wasn't a 4.7 at all. 1. The only this that was good, was the hygienist who did my cleaning. The rest of services was very bad an very disappointing. 2. I have paid and ordered a night guard 10 days ago and not that only hasn't been ready, also no one called me with an update! So I called and wanted to get updates, I was told that we will call you back when do a follow up. No one calls me back. 3. Two days later I called back to follow up, and of course frustrated and upset because no one is giving me any updates or returning the calls they promised they would, they were unresponsive on the phone and acted like I am bothering them by calling and following up on the matter. 4. I also did not like the dentist. When after cleaning he came to look at my teeth and talk to me regarding what the plan will be, he gave me a feeling that I am not a serious and important patient. I am not sure if I could explain it well, but it looks like they care about some certain patients. I was sure that I'll only go back for cleaning, but after talk with the front, and how they treated me I'll definitely cancel my cleaning appointment.

I made an appointment as a new patient and was completely satisfied with my visit. The appointment started right on time and I received x-rays, full exam, cleaning and explanation of everything that was happening from Wynette and Taylor who are both very professional and gentle. Dr. Brown also visited at the end of the cleaning and helped to answer a question I had. The entire staff made this a pleasant visit to the dentist and I don't say that very often!! I'll be back. UPDATE. I wrote this after my initial visit. Have been back several times for cleaning and procedures. All visits were excellent. I still highly recommend this dental office and the excellent staff.

From the front desk to the chair, this office has amazing staff. I cannot say enough about the group of people in this office. When you trust your family to a medical profession for your care it is nice to be treated as one of the family, and that is what Scottsdale Family Dentistry does. They take time for you, they put the family in Scottsdale Dentistry. Thank you all for the care of my family.

Everyone was super nice and very professional, they do truly treat you like family. From the front desk all the way to the DR. Everyone was fabulous and sweet! They were also super fast about getting me an appointment and treatment plan!

I confirmed my appointment with these people the morning of when I'm 5 minutes away they called me to say the doctor didn't come in today. How unprofessional additionally the girl working the front desk is a bit slow so that dose the help.
