Through his extensive training and experience, Dr. McCargar has developed a theory ofComprehensive Dental Care. This theory is based on building life-long relationships with our valued patients by emphasizing on-going, open communication. As a new patient, Dr. McCargar will meet with you to learn about your health and dental history, and your dental health goals. Together, you will develop a plan to achieve ideal oral health for the teeth and supporting tissues, as well as excellence in appearance and function. This is followed up with a resourceful and attentive program of dental hygiene and preventative dental care.
Dr. McCargar is a licensed Dentist in Arizona, Pennsylvania and Texas. After earning his Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from the University of Nevada, Dr. McCargar received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Pittsburgh, School of Dental Medicine. Providing patients with the most current cutting-edge dentistry is his commitment to his patients. Dr. McCargar is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, theAmerican Dental Association,World DentalFederation (FDI),Arizona Dental Association, and theCentral Arizona Dental Society.
Because of his extensive training, Dr. McCargar is often sought out and referred to by many of his dental colleagues. To date he has accomplished all aspects of Cosmetic and Family Dentistry, including preventative, restorative, aesthetic, and surgical techniques. He has performed thousands of procedures and has rebuilt many mouths to full function. As a true artist, Dr. McCargar has created Smile Makeovers that have not only given his patients a gorgeous smile, but have given them a sense of renewed confidence. As a Cosmetic and Family Dentist, Dr. McCargar has built a reputation based on quality care with a positive and caring attitude for his patients.

Dr. Jason McCargar is extremely knowledgeable, personable and caring, as is everyone on his staff. Great detail and patience is provided when discussing any necessary procedures and care plans as well as costs and available financing options. I am pleased to refer anyone to this office for dental needs.

I want to start off by saying thank you to the staff for helping me with my past dental work. Reason I'm giving a low rating was due to multiple issues that I had where I felt embarrassed going in. Also, one doctor really pushing me to purchase some items that I didn't end up using. I originally went in due to pain on one side of my face and then after the doctor worked on me I ended up having pain on the other side and needing a specialist to see me. After a few visits I stopped going to this office. Staff however were really great and nice to me when it came to helping me apply for a CC to pay for my out of pocket fees.

Scottsdale Dental Arts is a wonderful dental office. Beginning when you walk into the comfortable lobby, you are warmly greeted by the staff. The initial requisite paperwork is promptly provided and the check-in is quick. Nearly as soon as you sit down to await your name being called, you are promptly called to the back. The staff are kind, considerate, gentle, professional, and work smoothly to ensure a high-quality experience and optimal dental care. I highly recommend Scottsdale Dental Arts for anyone's dental needs.
