An intraoral camera is an indispensable diagnostic and educational tool. The tiny video camera moves around inside of your mouth and generates a tooth by tooth video exam of your teeth. Using an intraoral camera allows patients to better understand their dental needs by seeing what the dentist sees and then having it explained.
Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.

Literally wouldn't go anywhere else. Dr. Anthony, Emily and the entire team are first rate. Friendly, professional, and really knowledgeable about Dentistry. Dr. Anthony is the best dentist we've ever been too and have been going to him now for almost a full decade. Highly recommend Scottsdale & Shea-top notch facility, easy, parking, great location! This was the worst experience I've ever had at a dentist's office. I came in for a routine cleaning (my usual insurance covered 6 month cleaning) and they tried to sell me a $376 cleaning and REFUSED to clean my teeth the "regular" way. Then suddenly the price changed to $126 out of pocket. After I refused that and again stated I just wanted the regular clean they basically told me to leave. Either you pay for the extra deep clean or get outta here. Keep in mind, I've been regularly cleaning my teeth religiously every six months for the past 15 years! There is NOTHING wrong with my teeth. Furthermore, I just had my teeth cleaned 6 months prior and had no issues. So I guess in 6 months, my teeth suddenly decayed into mass periodontal madness. What a joke these people are! After I escalated to the dentist-- Daniel, he sheepishly said "let me see what I can do" and ran out of the room. The his Enforcer the "Office Manager" came in and basically told me to pay up or LEAVE. I waisted 1 hour and 45 minutes of my day to receive nothing but they got their cash in Xray money!!! Well done Dr.Daniel and company-- GET THAT MONEY. Steer clear of this racket of a dentists office.

This was the very first non judgmental, friendly, nicest dental office I've ever been to in my life! First time the actual dentist came out to the waiting room to greet me on my first visit. Anita was the reason I even booked an appt because she was so real when I initially called. My kids made appts and I even told my friends so they can switch to the best dentist team ever! I have been visiting them for over 2 years now. Dr. Monica does a great job on cleaning. She is very polite and considerate. Dr. Anthony is wonderful and explains everything in detail. In general, dental clinics are scary but these guys are awesome They take good care of you and your teeth

Doctor Miaoulis is amazing! I felt so at ease my first time there! He is very down to earth and goes over everything with you in great detail! All procedures are explained to you upfront along with pricing/covered by insurance. There is no pressure to do any extra treatments. His preventative care is the best I have had! His office staff is friendly and so helpful! I would highly recommended him as a dentist!

I hate going to the dentist! But I must say the this is a very nice office, with very nice staff and Dr.Miaoulis is AWESOME! The work was done quickly and well. So happy to have found them. Highly recommend!

Wonderful and caring office. I have a lot of tooth issues and have been to several dentists over the past 20 years. Dr. Anthony and his hygienist, Emily, are knowledgeable, empathetic and gentle. I have used the endodontist and periodontist in the office and they are also wonderful. Highly recommended!

I needed dental work updated & found The Scottsdale & Shea Dental Group. Great team & office setting. Great experience on my recent visit to complete a new bridge. Alma & Elva the "Female Elvis" helped me with my details, Brandon & Brenda helped get through & stay informed of my treatment. Excellent work & care by Dr. Miaoulis. He takes the time to thoroughly cover your treatment & questions. I look forward to going to this dental office!

This office.... This office is amazing. I had been dealing with a painful tooth for months but I just put it off. Now I am at that point where eating, drinking and just breathing was painful. I called this office and was able to get in within a few days. I called the day before my appointment too see if there was any way I could get in at a earlier time because it was affecting my sleep and they were able to get me in at 7:30am. Checking in was easy and the two girls in front were so sweet. I was brought back by Dr. M himself and he is seriously the nicest guy. Brenda did all my x-rays which can be quite uncomfortable at times made the experience easier by talking to me and just like that we were done. Dr. M did my exam and explained that the tooth needed a root canal and crown. Ok people my heart dropped because I knew that both those procedures were pricey let alone both at the same time! Michaela came in to go over the quotes and payment plans and they have a lot of options!!! I decided to go with the treatment plan they recommended and I was able to have most of the treatment recommendations done that same day. Branden who assisted Dr. M was just the sweetest and Dr. M was so gentle while doing my procedure. Dr. M suggested that I do a deep scale cleaning because it had been a long time since I had been seen by the dentist and I also have periodontal disease and Emily was able to see me and I was able to get my treatment done with her. This place is the absolute freaking best!! Dr. M is amazing his staff is amazing the prices are definitely fair and I will not only refer this office to everyone but I am now going to have my whole family switch to this office. If you are looking for a new dentist and you found this office DO IT call them. They know how to take care of their patients!
