Dr. Scott Churchill attended Mira Loma High School in Sacramento, California. He attended Oregon State University (OSU) in Corvalis, Oregon on an academic and athletic scholarship. At OSU, Scott received his Bachelor of Science degree in Premed and was inducted into the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. Scott attended the University of Oregon Dental School in Portland, Oregon where he received his DMD degree and graduated with high honors. A DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery) degree is the same degree as a DMD (Doctor of Dental Medicine) according to the American Dental Association. The DMD degree is the philosophy that dentistry is more involved with a background in medicine, as a result of people living longer healthier lives. Upon completing the University of Oregon Dental School, Dr. Churchill was accepted into a one year hospital residency where he successfully completed rotations in general anesthesia, general medicine, and prosthetics at the Portland Veterans Administration Hospital.
Scott is very skilled with apprehensive patients. Patients often say to me that my injections are amazing. That makes me feel good. I was awarded the Mr. Diagnosis award, from the faculty at my dental school, for being able to diagnose a wide variety of items on patients. That skill has resulted in my being able to diagnose many dental and medical health issues, and being able to refer patients to other medical professionals to make a definitive final diagnosis. Some of these undiscovered health issues have been life saving to patients, which is gratifying for me. I love dentistry and believe it is important to have fun with people and to do my best while working with patients. I treat every patient how I would want to be treated. I have to go to the dentist too!

I am so thankful I found Dr. Churchill and his team! I am one of those that avoids the dentist out of crippling fear and anxiety, but I knew I was at a point where I had no choice - I had to go. After stumbling upon their website, I knew this was exactly the type of dentist I needed to see. Everyone here is so kind and warm, and they really make me feel like they genuinely care about me. Dr. Churchill is super friendly and laid-back, easy-going, but also attentive to my health and comfort. He takes the time to educate me about my teeth and exactly what's going on. He and his team are educated, so friendly, and I cannot recommend them enough!

I've a very small mouth, both in terms of access and volume, and it's very hard to find a dentist that can handle that. Dr. Churchill is one of those dentists and he is also very good at his work. He is a pleasant fellow and his staff cheerful and accommodating.

Great professional service. Dr. Churchill has multiple awards and his work definitely shows it. Been going there for 14 years, don't plan to change

I googled them for their phone number (that turned out to already be in my phone - lol) and was shocked to see someone wrote "poor service". So I feel obligated to write a good review based on my experience there. My coworker recommended them to me 2 years ago and always had phenomenal service. They are awesome! Very professional and informative. Doctor Churchill really enjoys his job and you can tell how enthusiastic he is while explaining the process, he's super chill. I have recommended many people there and always will, take my word for it. They are super nice and personable. (PS. If you have ever seen the show 'Arrested Development' then you might notice too that Doctor Churchill resembles Tobias Funke - it's awesome!)

Wonderful atmosphere. Dr. Churchill is such a funny guy, my kids love going to him. My husband is really fearful of dentists and Churchill is the only dentist he will go to. He has been my dentist for at least 14 years. Dr. C rocks!

Very poor service and unprofessional. He cheated on us. This doctor did not discuss with us what need to be done and what was the cost. Just took XRAY and sent us the bill. I would not recommended. Make sure to ask him the cost before doing anything.
