I see my work as anintersection between art and science.I love working with my patients, staff, and colleagues every day to provide outstanding orthodontic care.

As a member of the Spear Study Club, I attend numerous continuing education events every year. I also belong to several online study groups, which have become increasingly more active in recent years, and Ive been a member of the Polk County Cleft Palate team for 30 years.

Giving back to our local community is important to me. I provideorthodontic treatment to underprivileged patients through programs such as Give Kids a Smile, the Florida Dental Associations Project Dentists Care, and the Traviss Dental Program at the Lakeland Volunteers in Medicine dental clinic.

Orthodontics is far more than just straightening teeth. We create lasting changes in people as we transform their smile, improve aesthetics, and guide growth. Along the way, we also form lasting relationships with our patients the true gift of orthodontic treatment.

I love welcoming patients to our practice, and making them part of our family. Orthodontics is a process, an art, and as such, we have time to truly get to know our patients. I am genuinely excited to see each and every patient when they visit.

I attended the University of Florida College of Dentistry for my Doctorate of Dental Medicine and earned myMaster of Science in dentistry and certificate in orthodonticsfrom University of Texas at Houston School of Dentistry. I have spent years training to deliver quality care thats customized to each individual patients needs.

I was inspired to enter the field of dentistry and pursue advanced education in orthodontics by my father, of course! I grewup working for him in this practice and have always admired his passion for the profession. He did my braces, and Ive watched him treat each and every patient with the same care and attention to detail he gave to me. Ive learned so much from him, but the greatest lesson has been to truly care for our patients, and to treat them like part of our family.

Orthodontics is a continually evolving field. As research improves, treatments become more efficient and comfortable for the patient. We keep up with the latest innovations to deliver excellent care to our patients. I love the continual advances that allow me to treat patients to the highest standards of care. Our practice does not pay lip service to adopting new technology, we actually do it. We have the training to choose what technologies save our patients' time and deliver enhanced comfort while avoiding common mistakes made by less experienced practitioners.

My research in residency focused on evaluation and delivery of superior orthodontic results byleveraging new and emerging digital technologies. We are an evidence-based practice that constantly reviews new and existing literature in order to provide lasting, efficient, and safe treatment for patients of all ages.

Im a proud mom who raised two wonderful sons. My sons were very athletic, so I spent many years volunteering for their sports and schools. Im blessed to have three healthy grandchildren. My time is spent with them: helping with school and with their extracurricular activities. I enjoy taking pictures and do scrapbooking for the children.

I have been in the dental field since 1996, gaining experience in dental assisting, expanded functions, and orthodontic expanded functions. At Scott Orthodontics since 2020, I assist the doctors with patient treatment and work hard to help patients feel comfortable during the process and being part of their journey to love their smiles. I really enjoy seeing our patients transitions and progress throughout treatment. The best part is seeing their results after their braces are removed!

I went to Remington Technical College in 2012 and worked as an assistant for two years before joining the Scott Orthodontics team. I appreciate working one-on-one with patients and seeing how confident they are when they get their braces off. I also enjoy the excellent teamwork we have here. We all work together in the best interests of our patients.

I was trained on the job and became a certified orthodontic assistant at the start of 2018. I love seeing the transformation of patients over the course of treatment. My favorite part is to see patients who hated to smile when they first came to the office leave with a smile from ear to ear the day they get their braces off. I also enjoy getting to talk to and know my patients; I love making their orthodontic experience enjoyable and fun.

I attended Traviss Technical College and graduated in 2018 as a certified dental assistantthe same year I joined Scott Orthodontics! As I work mostly with our new patients, I conduct initial exams, maintain patient records and information, review treatment fees and payment options, and provide patient and parent education on orthodontic treatment. I love working with patients and their families. It is inspiring to feel like we are truly making a difference in their lives.

I studied dental assisting at Traviss Technical College and passed three DANB exams to become a Certified Dental Assistant.I assist the doctors in the clinic and help make patients comfortable while being part of their journey toward a healthy and beautiful smile. I also work in the lab to make retainers, Scott Aligners, and oversee all Invisalign and appliances. There is nothing better than seeing our patients smiles transform from beginning to end and creating special bonds with them during their time here.

As an orthodontic assistant, I work alongside the doctors and assist with wire changes, bracket placement, and impressions to provide patients with the highest level of treatment in their orthodontic care. I started working in the orthodontic field right out of school in 2017, attended Traviss Technical College, and joined Scott Orthodontics in 2020. I love watching patients fall in love with their smile. We get to spend one-on-one time together, and I enjoy taking that time to get to know them.

My high school sweetheart and I have been together since 2007. We have two wonderful, amazing kids. For fun, we love going to the beach. We also love riding our four wheelers and we love to spend time with family.

I have been a dental assistant and sterilization tech since 2016, and have learned so much from Dr. Scott, Dr. Jon and our team since joining the office in 2018. Every day I come to work looking forward to the patients Im going to see and talk with. Each of them is unique and wonderful, and I love the conversations that happen while Im assisting in their orthodontic care. It is rewarding to help people obtain beautiful, straight teeth.

I earned my Bachelor of Science in public relations from the University of Florida in 2009 and brought my knowledge and experience to Dr. Scotts office in 2018. I oversee our marketing and communication efforts. We have a dedicated and hard-working team that creates beautiful smiles, and it is rewarding to communicate such positive stories and results. I also manage our human resources, bookkeeping, and accounts payable.

There is a high standard of excellence in our office, and it is empowering to work among a group of individuals who share a common goal: to deliver the best result for our patients, and to make our patients like part of the family along the way.

I met my husband, Dr. Jon, during our undergraduate studies at the University of Florida. The greatest blessings in our lives are our two young children, Robert and Ellie. We also have a Golden Retriever named Lady. In my free time, I enjoy spending quality time with my family, horseback riding, running, and almost anything outside to soak up the beautiful Florida sunshine.

I joined our team in 1999 as a certified orthodontic assistant, and also worked many years as a treatment coordinator. As our Financial Coordinator, I work with new patients to establish their payment plans and work with families regarding any financial questions. I am also the insurance coordinator and work with patients and parents to explore their orthodontic insurance benefits andfile their claims to help minimize the out-of-pocket expense.

I have been happily married to Steve for 23 years, and we have two children.Our daughter has her private practice in Lakeland as a mental health counselor, and she and her husband just welcomed our first grandchild, Mackenzie. Our son is a college student at Florida Polytechnic and has attained his private pilot's license with hopes to become a commercial airline pilot someday. In my spare time, I love riding my motorcycle, camping on weekends and enjoy cooking for my family!

Working with Dr. Scott and Dr. Jonis truly a pleasure. They are two of the best orthodontists I've ever known, and their reputation speaks for itself. We all take pride in our work and care for our patients, and it shows. It's a wonderful feeling to be a member of this great team!

I am happily married to my best friend Derek and we have two children, son Noah and daughter Riley. We have two bluetick hound dogs Bonnie Blue and Stormy June. We stay busy during our weekends as a family watching Noahs travel basketball games, going on trips, camping, and going to the lake on our boat.

I love spending time with new and existing patients when they visit our office. I enjoy working with people and feel gratified when I am able to help others. I feel very fortunate that I am able to work with such a great group of people who truly care about our patients and each other.

After completing dental assisting school in 2003, I worked for a general dentist for several years. Upon moving to New York in 2015, I became an orthodontic assistant. I moved back to Florida in 2020 and became part of the Scott Ortho team! Its gratifying to get to know our patients and incredibly rewarding to be a part of their smile transformation. Our team is a lot of fun too, especially when we make Tik Tok videos!

I am a certified orthodontic assistant, certified dental assistant, CPR certified, and X-ray certified, with more than 20 years of experience in the dental field. Since joining Scott Orthodontics in 2018, Ive loved working with our patients and seeing them from the beginning to the end. I enjoy seeing their confidence change as their smiles improve. The kindness and caring of both doctors and the staff makes the office feel like home. These are the best doctors and staff anyone could ask for!

My husband and I live in Winter Haven with our three fur babies. We have one cat and two mini Australian shepherds. We enjoy taking our dogs everywhere with us. We like going to the beach, boating, and any activity in the sun. We also enjoy traveling!
