As a practicing dentist for over 34 years, Dr. Scott Healey has an exceptional reputation as a well-trained, gentle and caring dentist with a passion for excellence. Education: Dr. Healey earned his dental degree from the University of Oregon, where he graduated at the top of his class for excellence in restorative dentistry after earning his bachelors degree in microbiology with a certificate in public health from Portland State University. He also has a doctorate degree in dental hygiene. Dr. Healey is committed to lifelong education and continues to take extensive postgraduate continuing education courses in all phases of general and family dentistry and orthodontics for the best results. This commitment ensures the highest level of dental care to all of his patients.
Dr. Healey continues to travels to third-world countries to provide dentistry to underprivileged children and to teach advanced techniques and materials to other dental professionals. He is currently a board member of the Academy of LDS Dentists, the Northwest PRECEDENT Research Network, his local Missionary Advisory Committee and Utah College of Dental Hygienes Program Advisory Committee. He is also a Clinicians Report Project Director. Dr. Healey enjoys art, music, golf, service to others, teaching, biking and his family.

I have been going to Dr. Healey for many years. He did my children's braces and did a beautiful job. He's trustworthy and efficient. I also appreciate his pricing, he's affordable and honest.

I like Scott Healey he is a very good dentist no problem but he has a receptionist who gets upset with me everytime I have to reschedule an appointment I was told that as long as I called the day before to reschedule that was fine which is what I usually do if I have to reschedule but she gets upset with me everytime to me this is a little unexceptable I'm not rescheduling on purpose to cause any inconvenience on anyone but I have other clients I have to take to appointments I have no help from anyone and so I have to do it all on my own. It is not much fun to get yelled at when you have to reschedule an appointment I feel like when your running a front desk you should be a lot kinder and professional the office is just going to loose clients if you don't so just a suggestion.

We have been using Dr. Healey for our family dental work for over 30 years. Five years before I was planning on retiring I talked to Dr. Healey about my overall dental health. At that time most of my back teeth had old fillings. Other then that my teeth were in good shape. Dr. Healey worked up a five year plan that would maximize the use of my insurance to cap the teeth and remove all the old fillings. Today I have all nice white caped teeth that look outstanding and fell even better. Working with the kids Dr. Healey is the best. We had five kids and he was their dentist. Dr. Healey was able to work with the kids and help them overcome the fear of going to the dentist. Over all I give Dr. Healey five starts... 10 out of 10... or 5 thumbs up.

Our family of 7 has been going to Dr. Healey for over 25 years. He always takes his time thoroughly checking our mouth and dental health and getting to know his patients personally. We also appreciate how well he explains any needed things to be done very calmly and with a listening ear to what we think as well. We know we are always in good hands when it's time to get our checkups!

I have been going here since I was a teen, now a mom of four. We love this office. Dr. Healey is so kind, knowledgeable, and great with children. I appreciate his willingness to educate, give options, and my children love when his assistants let them help use the suction device on mom. It's a great office, very clean and easy to contact and schedule with. I had my braces done here, wisdom teeth removed, and have always had a great experience.

There's no reason to go anywhere else. We've done braces here, wisdom teeth removal, all our dental care. Dr. Healey is thorough, honest, and good at explaining options. There's fun puzzles, toys, and books in the waiting area for children. The receptionist is very kind and informative, the hygienists were gentle and great with my children. I value this office and staff, they're honest, very educated, and thorough in their care.

Dr. Healey and his staff are incredible. Three words describe their office: care, concern, and effective. As a patient, attending a dentist is not my fav; however, when I need to go, it is not with fear or trepidation. Dr. Healey is very good at his job; not too busy to notice you or take a moment to listen. His skills as a dentist are excellent, including special care when giving shots, etc. The price is very reasonable compared to any other dentist in the area that we have visited.

This place smells very bad like mold, there are air freshners everywhere. There are holes in the ceiling. The equipment is outdated.

Dr. Healey always makes what might sometimes be a stressful experience into a friendly and comfortable occasion. His staff mirrors the same professional kindness and expertise as he does. I started going to Dr. Healey when my children were small. That was a lot of years ago! My children are all grown but I continue to go to Dr. Healey as he is a great dentist. Dr. Healey is professional and caring. He takes the time to speak with you, and has always taken great care of my teeth.

If I could give negative 100 stars I would. I had Scott as a dentist growing up, he didn't care if I was numb or not. I'd cry and cry while he worked in me. The amount of pain he put me through is unreal!! Because of him I was traumatized to go to the dentist for over a decade. I would never recommend him in a million years. I've talked to others who have had similar experiences with him as well. Please don't take your children to him.

Dr. Healey is great! I was scared of dentists, most likely because I had a lot of dental work as a child. I have been a patient of Dr. Healey's for years now. I just had to have a root canal and honestly it was the best dental work I've ever had. I have referred many friends and family members to Dr. Healey and they have been impressed. No fancy gimmicks here, just good dentistry. Dr Healey does it all. No need to go to multiple places to have your teeth taken care of. Cares about patients. He has called me afterwards to check up on me to make sure I was comfortable. If I need help, he gets me in quickly, no 2 weeks wait time. Taken right back when you arrive for your appointment. Staff is younger, seems to help new graduates get experience and confidence. Have always been pleased with service here. With the glut of Dentists out there, you can't go wrong with the knowledge and experience Dr Healey brings to his practice. He stands behind his work.
