Dr. Worley completed a general collegiate education at McNeese State University, earned a doctoral degree in dentistry from L.S.U. School of dentistry and completed his residency in pediatric dentistry at Childrens Hospital at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. These ten years of higher education uniquely qualifies him to care for the oral health of infants, children, and teenagers, including those with special healthcare needs.
Dr. Worley successfully completed Board Certification in Pediatric Dentistry. This is a voluntary, vigorous examination process for the purpose of professional excellence. He is now designated a diplomat of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and a fellow of the College of Diplomats. He is also a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Society of Dentistry for Children, the American Dental Association, the Louisiana Dental Association, and the Gnathos Orthodontic Society. Scott and his wife Donna have four sons, most importantly; he is devoted to children in both his personal and professional life.

During your first visit to our office we want to take the time to get acquainted and gather information. This includes a thorough examination and possibly taking x-rays we feel may be required to make a complete diagnosis. At this time we will also discuss with you the nature of any necessary dental care.
We have ways of explaining procedures to children, being honest and presenting it in a manner that will not frighten them. If you child asks, will it hurt? We feel it is wise to say that the Dentist is your friend and will be very gentle with you. Avoid phrases such as it wont hurt and that wasnt so bad.
Dr. Worley practices exclusively to the treatment of children, specializing in the treatment and prevention of dental disease, as well as the overall oral health of children. Through extra years of schooling, training, experience, and certification, a pediatric dentist is uniquely qualified to treat the dental needs of infants, children, adolescents and those with special health care needs.
A pediatric patient not only has a different dentition than adults but he/she may have specific dental and behavioral needs that are unique to a child. These needs may include dental sealants, fluoride applications or home treatments, or just simply education in oral hygiene. In addition to treating existing dental problems, our office focuses on prevention through patient and parent education. Our mission is to provide all of the educational tools necessary for our patients to enjoy a cavity-free future.

Love The Dental Depot! Everyone is so nice, from the front office to the back. Dr. Worley & his new associate Dr. Khan are both so professional, nice, and provide the best treatment. They even have a general dentist that comes to the office to provide work on adult teeth and teens.

We absolutely love the dental depot! the staff are all amazing and caring, always explain everything thoroughly. we love Dr. Worley, and his new associates Dr. Khan and Dr. Mike are an excellent addition to his office. My daughter's appointment went very smoothly, one of her cousins went last week, and another one will be going next month! definitely a family place!!!

I brought my two children to The Dental Depot . The experience was amazing . From being greeted by the most friendliest front staff that also greeted my children as well. The front office was clean and offered complementary coffee . The play room was super neat. It actually used to be a passenger train caboose. The whole office is train themed including the building itself . We were called to the back and the assistants are top notch. All EDDA certified and very caring . We got to see both Drs Dr. Worley and Dr.Khan they are both well educated drs and very informative. You can tell their love for children in this office. I wish I could give this place 10 stars instead of 5 !!

I called and asked if I could get an appointment for my 4 year old grandson who is non verbal autistic. The lady said the were not taking any Medicaid patients. I asked if she knew who could help me because he was hurting and can't talk to me. Her response was no I can't help you. I get that dr don't like to take Medicaid but what happened to caring about the patient? Why is being a dr about money these days? I know I'm upset about this but when you baby is hurting and can't talk that tends to happen.

I love Dr. Worley. He's the best pediatric dentist ever. I hate that Im moving because I'm retiring but don't be surprised if you see us because we drove up from Arkansas for an appointment.
