I have been to lots of dentists but am so glad I started coming to Dr. Scott Ellard. My stress level has dropped immensely since starting with Dr. Ellard. The staff is very friendly and thorough and Dr. Ellard is extremely good at the work he's done on my teeth at a reasonable price. I feel so much better about my teeth and Dr. Ellard's office deserves the credit.

Dr. Ellard is very personable and definitely makes you feel at ease, however, the business model for this practice appears to be heavily weighted to delegating as much of the patient contact to assistants and hygienists as possible. This means the doctor will see you less and other members of the team will provide more of your care. I now have a $5,000 failed implant that was only 5 years which was discovered when I switched to another dental practice. Dr. Ellard's office somehow missed it. I also had a large cavity on another tooth that was missed until it was so bad it required a root canal. Regardless of the above Dr. Ellard is cutting back on his hours and you most likely will be treated by Dr. Joey. UPDATE: Just changed my review from 2 stars to 1 star after the rude and misleading reply by the owner. 1 star more accurately describes my overall experience. I was being polite by giving 2 stars initially. Why should I have to post my legal name. That's ridiculous, I'm not looking for a resolution through you by way of a Google review. My resolution was to find another dental practice. Report me to Google, seriously. That's funny.

I've been a patient of Dr. Ellard for MANY years. He and his staff are incredibly kind and empathetic. They are diligent in dental care. Dr Ellard has smartly hired a partner to join his practice for future growth. And they both have specialties in restorative dental care as well.

I have been going to Dr. Ellard for over 30 years, because of a car accident I had in the 80's. He does great work every time. I wouldn't go to anyone else. I am going to be very sad the day he decides to retire. Johanna

I've always had a wonderful experience here. I've moved in and out of the state several times, but I will fly back just for my dentist appointment! Wouldn't go anywhere else! :)

Like so many other people with extreme dental anxiety I started going to Dr Ellard when I had a terrible toothache that would not go away (they never do, they just get worse). I was around 50 years old at the time and I had seen my share of dentists, none of whom understood that fear and anxiety will keep the most sensible, normal people from going to a dentist until they have no choice. I looked through the phone book (yes, a paper yellow pages :) ) and chose Dr Ellard because his ad actually mentioned dental fear, and said "Don't stay away because you think it's too late". My first visit was just about 9 years ago and I started my dental journey with my hygienist, Bianca, numbing my mouth for just a cleaning (!) and doing one quadrant at a time because that was what I felt comfortable with. Bianca is still my hygienist and we do my whole mouth at one visit and talk between rinses. Dr Ellard sat down with me and presented a treatment plan and was very up front with cost, procedure and time frame. He has been so great since that first crown, yikes!... through additional crowns, extractions, implants (love them!) and even braces for 2 1/2 years that he recommended to make treatment complete. Who knew?! In the beginning of course the anxiety was still there but I've come a long way because I found a dentist who gets it, who realizes that dental anxiety is real. I told him that the one thing I hate to hear is "Let me know if it hurts"....I know I'm not the only one who thought Why would I have to let you know? I can honestly say that I have never had anything happen that I was in any pain or discomfort during the many procedures I have had done. Dr Ellard is personable, funny, confident and extremely competent. He is meticulous and a perfectionist about his work and that is a benefit to his patients. And he plays Michael Buble and Jackson Browne videos among others so that's a plus too :) The office staff is friendly, attentive and always willing to help with a request. Dr Ellard's dental assistants are friendly and knowledgeable and work so smoothly with him that you feel comfortable with the whole experience. I am writing this the night before an appointment for a crown and I'm happy to say that my only anxiety is that I made an earlier morning appointment instead of afternoon!

I have been coming to Dr. Ellard for 30 years. When I first came to him, I was just out of college and my teeth were in very bad shape due to neglect (and soda pop). He put together a plan and saved my smile. In the intervening years, I've used that smile a lot, and I am grateful every day.

I have been seeing Dr. Ellard for over 30 years. He is always personable and friendly. He is not one to upsell you on services that aren't necessary to maintain good oral health. Staff are super friendly and always helpful. :-)
