Dr. Hayhurst was born and raised in Idaho but also lived in Alabama and Oregon as his father served in The United States Air Force. His father, a Lt. Col, Pilot, and MBA, and his mother, a school teacher, instilled the value of hard work and setting goals in Dr. Hayhurst from a young age.
Dr. Hayhurst attended Weber State University and played basketball his freshman year as a redshirt. After completing a 2-year service mission for his church in Columbus, OH, he attended Dixie University and resumed playing basketball. Due to knee injuries his basketball career ended, but his studies did not! Dr. Hayhurst attended Utah State University for 3 years before attending The University of Louisville School of Dentistry for 4 years and graduated with his DMD degree in 2001. Dr. Hayhurst has been married to his beautiful wife since 1995 and together, they have been blessed with 4 wonderful children. His hobbies include spending time with his family, basketball, sports, boating, outdoors, golf, travel, and cars.

Dr Hayhurst as well as his staff are amazing. It is so refreshing to feel as though my needs and circumstances are heard and valued. Even though I have insurance out of pocket costs are critical factors for me. I was given options regarding treatment moving forward which is greatly appreciated. Scott Hayhurst is the best dentist in town. The house staff is amazing! So warm and welcoming, they honestly feel like a big family in there. And the cherry on top is they are affordable and are able to work out a timely and detailed map of the work you will need so it doesn't ever break the bank. Highly recommend!

This guy is amazing! The staff is the best! I feel in love. They have cold water, and hot coffee if you need it. Most of all; they each treat you as if you are the only patient. I lost my teeth in an auto accident almost 40 years ago. I was in my 20's. Without exaggeration Dr Hayhurst is the first dentist I've had that really listened to me. After having dentures for so many years he was presented with some problems that would stump most dentists. I didn't want dentures that looked like dentures. I didn't want them to be a blinding white. Age appropriate color is what I asked for. He hit the mark on every front. He isn't a fly by night kind of get you in get you out with dentures in one day kind of doctor. It pays to let each stage of the process happen in the time it takes to create dentures that are uniquely yours. The kicker is; the cost of Dr Hayhurst dentures and the cost of those one day guys isn't much different at all. He's got my vote and if I could have given him 10 stars I would have. I took my son here and they said he had no cavities on his last visit which was about a month ago. He has been in some pain but was told his teeth were sensitive. Had to make an emergency appointment with another dentist and he is getting a root canal as we speak. This probably could have been prevented. Well not take my son here again.

My daughter described this dentist's office as "The Disneyland of Dentists," and she's absolutely right. They are the nicest, most gentle, least scary dentists I've ever experienced in my almost 50 years of dental visits. 100% highly recommended.

Feel totally ripped off with my temporary denture cost. I was charged almost $2k for temporary dentures that don't have a complete bite so 1) biting into a sandwich is very limited even with a egg salad 2) the chew teeth don't all match up in which I have space *gap) and thus not all teeth can chew. Next I can't get an estimate for my permanent dentures. My recommendation is don't go here for dentures and think twice about partials too. All other dental services are great as I've been going to him for years and those services have been awesome.

This is the best dentist I have ever gone to. Dr. Hayhurst is very thorough and wants to make sure everything is done correctly. All of the staff are very welcoming, friendly, and make you feel comfortable. I have always had anxiety going to the dentist due to very sensitive gums and bad experiences with other dentists, that has been completely eliminated since coming here.
