Each patient deserves our focused attention and best efforts to make his/her experience one that stands far above the norm. We pride ourselves on being efficient and following proven systems. Our practice depends on the success of these efforts.
Renee graduated from Wayne Community College in 1994 and was honored by receiving the Clinical Achievement Award. Renee has been Dr. Matthews assistant since 1999 and is married and has one daughter and a dog. When not helping Dr. Matthews create beautiful smiles, she enjoys fishing, swimming and spending quality time with family.
Tina grew up in Kinston and now resides in Ayden. She is a 2005 graduate of Wayne Community College where she earned her Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene. Tina has been a member of Dr. Matthews staff since 2005. She is married and has three children. Outside of the office Tina enjoys spending time with family and friends.
Linda has been a resident of Duplin County for 46 years. She is married, has one daughter and 4 granddaughters. Linda has been a part of Dr. Matthews staff since 2003. When she is not multitasking at work, you can find her cooking for family and friends, relaxing by the pool and playing with the family pets.
Jesica was born and raised in Kinston. She graduated from the dental assisting program at Wayne Community College in 2013. She enjoys spending time with her fianc, Brad, daughter, Finlee, and their two dogs, Sailor and Barley.
Despite having lived in Greenville, Wilmington and now Dover, NC, Stephanie has always considered Kinston home. She joined the staff in 2015. Stephanie enjoys spending her free time with her husband, Aaron, and their daughter, Taylor Rae.

Dr Matthews and his staff are tops. I needed to change appointment to a later date. It was rescheduled and Noah did a great job :) Highly recommended :)

Dr. Matthews and his staff are the Bomb! What better way to start your Monday morning than with Noah at the dentist office. It is evident that he enjoys what he does. Everyone makes you feel comfortable at a place that can be quite uncomfortable.

Dr. Scott Matthews and his staff are incredible. I hate going to the dentist, the noise the instruments make or the scaping of the teeth just make me cringe and having procedures are a nightmare. Had a procedure today and they took their time to make sure I was ok and doing good every step of the way taking breaks so that I did not get worked up. Had to get a shot in my gums and his assistant for the day (Did not get her name) was reassuring me and rubbing my arm calming me down during that part. I would recommend Dr. Matthews to any of my friends. They are helpful and caring and they treat you like family. Thank you Dr. Matthews and your staff for taking care of me today.

Dr. Matthews and his staff are phenomenal. I used to be terrified to go to the dentist and after changing over to Dr. Matthews I am no longer anxious and feel very comfortable even when having a procedure. They take excellent care of me and my family.
