He truly enjoys getting to know his patients and the relationships he has built with them. Helping them discover renewed well-being, and watching their attitudes change as they move from a state of decay and poor aesthetics to one of health and beauty is one of the most gratifying parts of his work.
Andrea is proud to begin her dental career with Dr. Tangeman and the rest of his team here in Bakersfield! She completed her education at the Regional Occupation Center and joined the team as a Dental Assistant. Andrea is responsible for assisting Dr. Tangeman, maintaining all of the supplies necessary for the office to run, as well as completing the X-rays and sterilization of the equipment. The best parts about her job are learning more and more every day about proper dental treatments and procedures, as well as helping patients achieve the smile they desire!
When Andrea isnt in the office, she is a youth group leader at San Clemente Mission and teaches teens how to play the guitar. You can also find her spending time with her family and friends, and traveling to new and exciting places!
Mary Ann received her RDH from Taft College and is currently studying for her Bachelors Degree, with the goal of eventually procuring her Masters. Mary Ann loves the ability to work one-on-one with patients, educating and helping them obtain and maintain healthy gum tissues and teeth something that helps them find optimal overall health as well. This practice is special, says Mary Ann, because our team works together to provide each patient with a specific and unique treatment and maintenance plan designed to meet their particular needs and interests.
Individualized care is so important here! In her free time, Mary Ann enjoys spending time with family and friends, and practicing yoga. She also enjoys outdoor activities, such as spending time at the lake fishing and camping, and she recently learned how to wake board.
Ronni is a proud graduate of Bakersfield College, Cal State at Bakersfield, and Taft Colleges dental hygiene program. Shes a Registered Dental Assistant and a Registered Dental Hygienist and has been working in the dental field for over 24 years. Youll find her overseeing scheduling and insurance, performing general office managerial duties, and assisting with financial information.
She loves getting to know all of the different patients because they become like family to all of the team members. Outside of work, she and her husband are very supportive of their musical daughter, who was accepted into a Vet/Ag. Scholars program at the University of Missouri, allowing her to have a permanent spot in vet school after her bachelors is completed in Animal Science at Mizzou.! They also love spending time with family at church and having Sunday brunch together afterward.
Brittany loves being able to see patients feel confident about their treatment, and as an Insurance Specialist she is a big part of that process. She helps to maximize insurance payments, as well as explaining benefits and limitations to patients before each and every procedure. She loves how well the team works together as well as the fact that Dr. Tangeman genuinely cares about the health and well being of each and every patient.
She hopes to continue her knowledge of the latest updates in dental insurance through classes from the Dental Society, and also would like to become certified to take x-rays in the near future. Outside of work, Brittany enjoys spending time with her husband and young son, relaxing at home doing DIY projects, or taking a drive out of town to the beach.
Brittany is a graduate of San Joaquin Valley College and has been working in dentistry since 2014. Brittany stays busy around the office assisting her fellow team members and Dr. Tangeman, ordering necessary supplies, and sterilization in the treatment rooms. One of the best aspects of the work she does each day is getting to interact with patients and seeing their reaction to the final results when they complete treatment. She says working in this office is unique because of the well-developed relationships Dr. Tangeman has with his patients by getting to know them before recommending any treatments. We love having Brittany as part of our team because shes reliable, friendly, organized, responsible, and a hard worker. Outside of the office, Brittany enjoys spending time with her family, including two daughters and traveling to new, exciting destinations.

Everyone who works at Dr Tangeman's office is kind and thorough. They really try and fit you into their schedule as soon as possible. It is a pleasant office and dental environment. Dr. Tangeman's is an experienced, conscientious, careful dentist.

Dr. Tangeman has been my dentist for over 25 years and I couldn't be happier. His staff is excellent as well. I have referred several people to him and they are just as pleased. He is caring and thorough. The precautions being taken by Dr. Tangeman and his staff during the pandemic made me feel very comfortable and safe during these stressful times. They could not provide better service. Here we are some time later and nothing has changed. Dr. Tangeman and his staff are still the best.

I have been a patient of Dr Tangeman for almost 8 years now and have always had great dental visits. His dental service is outstanding and makes his patients feel like family. His office staff is very professional and helpful with any billing and dental questions. I would highly recommend his office to anyone looking for a new dentist.

Dr. Tangeman and staff were amazing. Office is easy to locate and plenty of parking. I was nervous going in since my previous dentist of 31 years retired and finding a new dentist is a whole ordeal. I felt comfortable and right at ease. Dr. Tangeman was patient and kind and explained everything thoroughly. I will definitely be recommending friends and family to him. Happy to call him my new dentist.

I have been going to see Dr. Tangeman since I was a kid! He is very thorough but explains what he is doing. I decided to finally do Invisalign this past year and the process has been so smooth and I'm glad Dr. Tangeman was the one to do it! Also, his staff is so lovely and kind! They are so welcoming, accommodating, and hard working! I would 100% recommend Dr. Tangeman to anyone looking for a dentist!
