Becoming a dentist was a lifelong dream for Dr. Marcus Capalbo. Growing up in a family of dentists, he always aspired to follow in the footsteps of his grandfather, father, and brothers. Dr. Marcus is the seventh dentist in his family. His father and uncle still practice in the office founded by his grandfather in Westerly, RI.
Dr. Marcus graduated from Providence College and then attended Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA. At Tufts, he earned a Doctorate of Medical Dentistry degree. Following dental school, Dr. Marcus attended the University of Connecticut, School of Dental Medicine where he completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at the UConn Health Center Hospital. Dr. Marcus still continues his education, taking classes and attending seminars all over the country.

I cannot say enough about Scituate Family Dental. We recently switched to this practice and are so happy to have made the switch. Pat in the office is the best and so helpful. Highly recommend!

The hygenist that handled my 2 crowns was very nice and competent. She was patient during moments that were uncomfortable in prepping the teeth. I was very satisfied with the experience.

Patty was my hygenist for a 6 month cleaning. She was very experienced, and pointed out an issue with 2 teeth that will need future repair.

I had bonding on my front tooth. The dentist did a great job. I''m a person who tends to have sensitive teeth. He gave me a shot to numb the area which I have to say was good. It didn't hurt and he was quick about it. I definitely recommend Dr. Capalbo.

I was having a problem with a new partial plate. The girls got me in and they adjusted my plate. The girls in the office are so nice and very helpful. I'm very pleased with all of them

The staff at SFD are amazing! Everyone is friendly and so helpful. Someone always answers the phone and they're very accommodating when making an appointment. Best of all, everyone understands going to the dentist can be a stressful experience for some people and they're all so kind.
