Dr. Jeff grew up in northern Utah and is thrilled to be working in this beautiful state. Becoming a pediatric dentist has been a lifelong dream of his. He loves dentistry and thinks its pretty awesome he gets to work with kids all day! He loves spending time with his wife Jen and their two children, Amelia and Henry. His family enjoys outdoor activities, all things Disney and trips to Bear Lake. He also loves skiing, fishing, and exploring the beautiful lakes and mountains Utah has to offer. Other hobbies include reading, watching movies and he is a die-hard Jazz fan!
Dr. Jeff completed his Bachelors Degree from Utah State University. Go Aggies! He then went on to earn his DMD at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. He furthered his training at a two-year pediatric residency program at Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis.
During residency, he received specialized training and gained extensive experience with traumatic dental injuries, medically complex patients, patients with special health care needs and calming highly anxious children. Dr. Jeff hopes to help educate children and parents about a healthy smile, while making a visit to the dentist a comfortable and positive experience. His goal is to build the trust of you and your child while providing excellent dental care. He cant wait to meet your family!
Believe it or not, children should start going to the dentist as early as the age of one.Starting early withpediatric dental care & prevention is key to healthy teeth for your child throughout his or her life. Teach your children to have daily brushing and flossing habits to prevent cavities and other dental problems. Take your children to the dentist every 6 months for a cleaning and check-up.
When it comes time for their dental visit, we never want kids to feel scared. That is why we offer crucial restorative treatments including oral conscious sedation, nitrous oxide, and I.V. sedation through our licensed anesthesiologist. Our facilities in Logan, Farr West and South Ogden are equipped with the necessary resources, experience, and staff to accommodate your childs needs. We serve patients from Logan to Layton. We want your child to feel as comfortable as possiblewith a pediatric dentist they trust.

Dr. Schweppe is so kind and informative. The assistants made the visit so pleasant for my littles by answering questions, explaining what they were going to be doing, and by going slow. We live Schweppe Pediatric Dental! I am so glad we found them!

They were fantastic. The front desk clerk listened to our requests. The assistants and hygienists worked well with my daughter. The dentist was very compassionate and provided efficient care. I would highly recommend this office.

Not impressed. This is not a child friendly environment, very cold and distant bedside manor. The waiting room is not kid friendly or fun. They pressured us into putting money down on the spot. Thankfully they did give us a refund so we could go to one that is more kid (and parent) friendly. Glad we got out of here before doing serious work on our little one.

Such a fun and kid friendly place! My 4 and 2 year old love the treehouse and all the staff go the extra mile to make them feel comfortable and make their first dentist experience less scary!

I was told my 4 year old son needed to get his top four front teeth capped as well as some fillings for his back teeth. During the time he was knocked out they found out he needed root canals on his front two teeth. After getting all that work done, we went back for his 6 month check up just to be told they would have to pull his front two teeth anyways and get another root canal on one that they had just capped previously. Instead of going through with a third root canal, I told the dentist we would prefer to just get the front three teeth pulled. The dentist was noticeably irritated by our decision. During the tooth extraction appointment my son was very upset because he couldn't move and didn't want the laughing gas on his nose. He was very scared and confused about what was happening. So, the dentist asked me to leave the room so they could calm him without a parental presence. As I sat right outside the door I heard Dr. Schweppe YELLING at my son OVER and OVER again to stop screaming. I left the office with my son in my arms and tears in my eyes. I will never ever take my son back to the office in Farr West. My son might not remember much because he was a little loopy but I will never forget what an awful, traumatic experience it was.

This dentist is amazing! My daughter has a fear of the dentist because of her last dentist. She usually fights to have the shot, but this dentist made her feel very comfortable and she didn't fight at all. Highly recommend this dentist!

I chose this office because they had a lot of good reviews. I took my 15 month in to see him. The dentist was wonderful. He warned me beforehand that my baby was probably going to cry and that was ok. They would spend his first few visits getting him used to seeing the dentist before trying to get him to sit in the chair. Dr. Schweppe answered all of my questions and made me feel comfortable. I didn't interact very much with the staff but I would say they were average. They were what you would normally expect in a dentist's office. Overall I would highly recommend this dentist and his office. I hope I didn't throw off their whole schedule, because I was late.
