My profession connects me with my colleagues and community. As such, I am able to enrich my life by helping create better self-esteem for my patients through their smiles. Dentistry is such an exciting field it is always advancing. With my background in nutrition, dentistry was an easy path to take. It enables me to lift my patients from a point of being hesitant to smile to beaming from ear to ear!
I attended Syracuse University as a nutritional science major, and I regularly use the knowledge I gained to educate patients about healthy living. My Doctor of Dental Surgery was earned at the University of Maryland College of Dentistry.
My dedication to the advancement of dentistry has always been a priority. My professional skills are continuously being strengthened by advanced training in cosmetic, restorative and implant dentistry, allowing me to give my patients the best results possible.
I have been fortunate enough to have studied at world-renowned dental institutes, including New York Universitys Rosenthal Institute for Aesthetic Dentistry, the Miller Center for Esthetic Excellence, the Dawson Academy and the Pankey Institute. I also have completed advanced training in restorative therapy for osseointegrated dental implants.
Born in Argentina, I have lived in Bethesda for the past 15 years. I have a husband, two children and a Chocolate Labrador Retriever. My leisure time is spent with my family and enjoying outdoor activities like running, biking and hiking.
I have been a volunteer for the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, where I have restored the dental health of women who have been physically abused. It enables them to feel better about themselves and gives them the confidence to rebuild their lives.
I am also a volunteer at Shady Grove Hospital, where I give free annual oral cancer screenings and educate members of the community on the signs of oral cancer. So many people are unaware of this deadly disease, and I am glad to take the opportunity to inform and screen as many people as I can.

My husband and I started seeing Dr. Schwartzman over 20 years ago, and both our kids have been coming here since they were old enough to have teeth. Every single person that works here is top notch. Front desk staff, billing staff, hygienists, assistants, and every dentist here is amazing. They are like a big, happy family and their caring for one other and their clients is evident. I can't imagine going anywhere else--even though it's a hike for us, it's worth it.

My husband and I started seeing Dr. Schwartzman over 20 years ago, and both our kids have been coming here since they were old enough to have teeth. Every single person that works here is top notch. Front desk staff, billing staff, hygienists, assistants, and every dentist here is amazing. They are like a big, happy family and their caring for one other and their clients is evident. I can't imagine going anywhere else--even though it's a hike for us, it's worth it.

Was 5 star til I called and said I have appointment in 3 weeks but I live across street. Can dentist make a mouth guard to help snoring. Assistant said oh yes. I can set you up this week. Great! Doctor Came in asked if I had sleep study, I said no. He said you need that first. He rifled through drawers and found no info to refer me then barks ar the assistant code xyz. I just laughed thinking would a reputable doctor charge for 2.min question answer? Never touched my teeth I received a 127 bill today for consultation. What dentist charges 2,400 per hour? If assistant was properly trained to ask if that was done yet, I guess they would t get the 127. I cancelled my cleaning which they would have made 350 and lost a customer and a 5 star review. If I had asked the same question 3 weeks later it wouldn't cost me a dime. Disappointing business tactic dr schwartzman. Train your staff and ensure customers known theres a charge to get your precious expensive time. Smh
