Dentistry means so much to me: it allows me to feel fulfilled by what I do, every day, with each patient I see and interact with. Getting to help people keep the teeth they have, or improve their function or aesthetics, is very satisfying!

I have practiced dentistry for more than a dozen years. I decided to pursue a dental career because of my great experience with my orthodontist when I was a kid. I had crooked teeth, which meant I was self-conscious and didnt like to smile. Besides being a very nice guy, my orthodontist gave me a smile that I was happy to show off. I knew then that I wanted to make the same positive change in the lives of others.

I enjoy working closely with each patient to achieve their desired dental outcome. Whether the person wants straighter teeth, a whiter smile, relief from pain, or to keep their teeth for a lifetime, I love helping individuals achieve their goals!

Everyone in our office cares that our patients receive the best care and really work with each patient to give them amazing service. We strive to provide all dental services at one location: We want to make caring for ones oral health and ones familys smiles easier!

One of the most exciting aspects of dentistry is how it is constantly advancing. Research leads to technological innovations, new materials, and changes to techniques. I love furthering my knowledge and skills to better serve our patients.

Since receiving my dental degree, I have completed extensive postgraduate courses and participated in study clubs, to learn about orthodontics, Invisalign, and dental implants. I study current and evolving topics in general dentistry, too.

I grew up in Knappa and have lived in Portland for a decade and a half. My wife Nirvana is also a dentist. She owns her own office in Tigard. We have two active young sons, as well as a family dog ... and the boys keep asking for us to add another pup!

I am passionate about being very involved in my kids lives; I have jumped into coaching their sports and have really enjoyed the connection with them and our broader community. I am also a passionate Trailblazers fan and love watching their games, whether on TV or when Im lucky at the Moda Center.

My profession is about teaching others about their oral health, empowering them to make their oral health a priority, and helping with pain or other concerns. I want people to feel confident and whole again.

I have practiced dentistry for at least seven years. The field appealed to me as I knew I wanted to be part of a profession where I could learn a skill that would really help people universally. Oral health is such an important part of ones total body health and its rewarding to be part of a community that works to educate and help individuals improve their wellbeing.

Our practice values our patients opinions, desires, and limitations. We incorporate each persons concerns into their personalized treatment plan, and are always respectful of their unique situation and concerns.

Our team is energetic, positive, hardworking, and knowledgeable! Coming to a new dental office, especially if one has had unpleasant prior experiences or its been a while since their last visit, can be intimidating. Our team makes people feel like family and takes time to learn who each is and what they want. From the minute someone walks through the door, we want them to feel cared for and comfortable.

Oral healthcare is a constantly evolving field. Through a range of continuing educational pursuits, I stay current with new technologies and techniques that allow me to better serve patients. I want people to feel confident when they come to our practice that they are receiving the best possible care.

When Im not helping people through dentistry, I enjoy running half marathons, skiing in the winter, and golfing in the summer. I also like spending free time oil painting and cooking, and Kraig and I love to travel, experiencing new-to-us cities, cultures, and foods.

My family, and the many wonderful friends I have made in the Pacific Northwest, are my greatest passions. That said, I am also a passionate lifelong learner, whether in my field of work, or learning new skills for everyday life, such as learning to speak Spanish and how to swim!

I decided to become a dental assistant because when I had braces in high school they totally transformed my smile and I realized what a huge difference dental can make for someone. In the office I work mainly as a chairside assistant and help keep things running smoothly in the back office.

I have been working at Schuyler Family Dentistry since 2020, when I was still indental assistant school. After completing my externship in the office I transitioned from being a sterilizationtech to getting to assist the doctors chairside. I love learning all the different aspects of assisting and getting to work with such great people.

I like connecting and building relationships with my patients. As I learn about their lives and activities, they learn that I care about them as individuals and that helps create trust, as they know I want the best for them. I have been working at Schuyler Family Dentistry for over 10 years now and am so thankful to work with such a great team!

I have been married for more than a dozenyears and have two boys and two dogs. We love outdoor adventures: fishing, hunting, and camping anything that gets us outside! I also love to bake and cook, and am always trying new recipes!

I have been working for Schuyler Family Dentistry for almost ten years and have absolutely loved getting to know our wonderful patients. My main job at the office is as the orthodontic assistant/coordinator. Getting to know our ortho patients and witnessing their smile transformations brings me so much joy!

I am an avid baker/crafter and use those skills in my role as the Birthday Fairy in our office! :) My family and I love all things Disney and try to make as many trips as possible to the happiest place on Earth(Disneyland)!

This job has been my very first experience in the dental field and I am so thankful for the opportunity to work with Dr. Schuyler and our amazing team at Schuyler Family Dentistry. I love that I get to assist patients in getting the dental care that they need.

Outside of the dental world, you can most definitely find me lifting heavy things- more often than not weights at the gym, devouring delicious food with my family, playing hide and seek with my two younger siblings, or discovering new trails to hike with my two fur babies.

I have been a part of the Schuyler Family Dentistry team for over 10 years now and have done many different jobs over the years. In the beginning I worked with Dr. Schuyler as a dental assistant but then I moved to the front desk, and now I am the insurance coordinator for the office. For the past 30 years I have lived in Woodburn and I love getting to work with the members of our community and help people understand their benefits and hopefully bring a smile to their day.

I recently joined the Schuyler Family Dentistry team as a dental assistant and have really loved getting to know the amazing patients at this office. I recently moved to the Woodburn area and am liking getting to work so close to home.
