I thoroughly enjoy practicing orthodontics. I strongly believe I was meant to do this job. God has blessed me with many supportive family members, friends, and past experience, all of which make me and this practice what it is.

As an orthodontist, I have the knowledge and skillset to change my patients lives. As a result of treatment, they are able to relax and smile with confidence as they meet new people, are in front of a camera, and laughing with friends and family. It is my desire that each patient feels good about themselves and has a healthy bite that lasts a lifetime.

I love the relationships that form with my patients. I enjoy getting to know who they are and what makes them tick. Seeing a person go from being self-conscious about their smile at the beginning, then glowing with pride and excitement at the end of treatment, is my reward for coming to work.

Each year I complete many hours of continuing education, through conferences, study clubsand online courses. My goal is to provide the highest level of personalized orthodontic treatment possible. Keeping at the leading-edge of advancements ensures my patients are receiving the best care.

I was a middle child in a family of seven and grew up on a family farm in Illinois. It was there I learned that hard work pays off. Being part of a small community, I gained a lasting appreciation for caring for each other and looking out for your neighbor. I lived the phrase, a community raises a child, and apply that experience in caring for my patients. I strive to be a positive influence in each patients life.

I now live within a couple miles of my office. I love the beach lifestyle and community, and am glad to be raising my family here. My wife and I have been married for more than 15 years and have been blessed with three amazing children. We enjoy our dogs, Buster and Laia, whodefinitely completeour family!

When not working, I enjoy time with family and friends. I love being on the water: boating, paddle boarding, offshore fishing, and snorkeling. I appreciate local Florida art festivals, golf, tennis, sports, and the attractions in Orlando.

I am an active member in our church and small group bible study. My wife and I support many local charities, but are most passionate about helping local children have more opportunities and better lives.

As the Office Manager at Schumacher Orthodontics, Michele brings leadership to guide the day to day operations of the practice. Michele has been in the dental field for over 19years, and joined Dr. Schumacher's team in March 2016. In addition to Human Resources and Staff Development responsibilities, Michele oversees all insurance and financial matters for our patients. Michele's attention to detail and dedication to our patients is evident as she works dailyto ensure our families maximize their insurance benefits, as well as address financial concerns and questions in the utmost professional and kind manner.

Michele has been married to her husband Danny for 33years. She has two beautiful children, Ryan and Marisa, which make her very proud!Sheenjoys watching her children in team sports, going to the beach, long walks and spending time with her family.

Rachel joined the Schumacher Orthodontics team in early 2014 as the Treatment Coordinator, with 15years of experience in the dental field. Rachel is the smiling face that guides our new patients through the process of beginning orthodontic treatment. From answering treatment questions, making financial arrangements, and demonstrating orthodontic appliances, Rachel serves our patients with enthusiasm and takes great care to communicate with our referring dentists about each individual patient.

Rachel is married to her best friend, Tim,they have a beautiful daughter named Julia, and have2 dogs - Duke and Sophie. Rachel and her family enjoy spending time at the beach and Disney. Rachel is a country music fan, and loves cheering on her Duke Blue Devils!

Julie joined Schumacher Orthodontics in 2020. She brings with her 12 years of hospitality experience and enjoys welcoming and interacting with each patient. She considers braces the best gift her parents ever gave her and is honored to play a role in each patients orthodontic journey.

Julie is a Florida native who graduated with a degree in Mass Communications from the University of South Florida. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two sweet kiddos, Kaylin and Ian. Their favorite activities are gymnastics, golfing, swimming and cheering for the Miami Dolphins.

From the first day that Schumacher Orthodontics opened in 2010, Melinda has played a vital role in the daily operations of the practice. As the Lead Orthodontic Assistant, Melinda oversees clinical operations, works chairside with Dr. Schumacher, and ensures that all necessary appliances and supplies are ordered and organized. Melindas leadership and attention to detail ensure that our clinical team is well prepared to serve our patients every day.

Courtney joined Schumacher Orthodontics in 2016. She has been in the orthodontic field since 2000. You will see Courtney working alongside Dr. Schumacher though out the day on various orthodontic procedures. She loves the relationships she creates with her patients and cant wait to come to work each day.

Courtney is a native Floridian originally from South Florida. She is married to the love of her life, Brent, and they have two beautiful children, Everett and Ava. Courtney and her family enjoy spending a lot of time at the beach playing in the sand and water. They also love to fish as a family!

Tara joined Schumacher Orthodontics in 2016 as an Orthodontic Assistant. Being in orthodontics for 20 years, Tara has a vast knowledge and experience with Invisalign and initial bonding of new patients. Tara also works chair-side with Dr. Schumacher during clinical procedures throughout the day. She loves to come to work every day watching the physical change of a patient in braces but her favorite part of her job is watching each of her patients fall in love with their smile! Tara diligently serves our patients with her cheerful attitude and meticulous attention to detail.

Tara was born and raised in northern Indiana but moved to Florida the first chance she got. She loves having the beach as a backyard and spending time outside enjoying the weather. She is very much a dog person, and enjoys dog sitting as well as volunteering at the animal shelter.

Tiffany joined the Schumacher Orthodontics Team in 2018 as an Orthodontic Assistant and has been working as a dental assistant since 2016. Tiffany graduated from Eastern Florida State College with her AA as well as completed the Dental Assisting Program. She also received her Bachelors Degree from the University of Central Florida in 2019. Tiffanys constant cheerful disposition will certainly make you smile!

Tiffanys greatest love is her family. She enjoys teaching 1stgraders at her church in the evenings and loves the beach. Tiffany enjoys trying new things and loves being happy as well as making others happy and having fun. She has a German shepherd fur baby named Duke.

Kristin joined the Schumacher Orthodontics team in early 2015 as an Orthodontic Assistant. Kristin has worked in the orthodontic field since 1986, and her years of experience are a valuable asset to our team. Kristin assists Dr. Schumacher with all patient records - so smile, she will be taking your pictures!

Kristin is a Florida native, and she enjoys all of the wonderful outdoor activities our state has to offer. Kristin has 2 sons and a large extended family that she enjoys spending time with. Kristin is fan of Florida sports teams, particularly the Gators, Dolphins and Marlins!

Esther has been working in the dental field since 2001, and enjoys working with patients one on one to give the best attention to their orthodontic needs. She joined the Schumacher Orthodontic team in May 2019 as an Orthodontic Assistant. Esther works chair-side with Dr. Schumacher during clinical procedures throughout the day. She loves to come to work and be part of life-changing transformations of smiles.

Esther and her husband, Mike, have been married for 16years and have 4 vibrant children together Isaac, Oliver, Ella, and Emmett. Esther and her family moved to Florida in 2018, and enjoy spending time with friends and family. They love to travel and explore new places.

Cathy joined our team in June 2020 as our in-house Lab Technician. While Dr. Schumacher custom designs all of our appliances and retainers, Cathy brings them to life in our lab with the help of our 3D printer. Cathy has been in the orthodontic field for more than 30 years as lab technician as well as assisting as an orthodontic assistant. Cathys favorite part of her job is seeing the end result of the appliance she has made especially for each of our patients who are getting their braces off. She cant wait to see the colorful new retainer that she creates for them!
