After more than 20 years of being an orthodontist, I am more excited than ever to come to work each day. I love the challenge of my work, but the best part of my day simply comes from getting to know our patients. When I help someone attain a smile they are proud of and enable them to gain confidence through that smile, it always makes my day.
For my orthodontic education, I attained my Master of Science Degree in Oral Biology from the Department of Orthodontics in the Baylor College of Dentistry. Since that time, I have published many papers on the growth status of children, as well as craniofacial growth and development. I am also on the Admissions Board for the Residency Program at Baylor College of Dentistrys Department of Orthodontics. In my years of orthodontic education and continuing education, I always strive to know the most efficient and comfortable methods of treatment, so I can ensure that my patients always receive the best of care.
My highest aim in my work is to improve the quality of life for my patients. I enjoy getting to know each person who comes to visit our practice and building friendships throughout their treatment. I am passionate about what I do and always strive for perfect results.
My team is wonderful at what they do simply because they love it so much! We are passionate about making orthodontic visits fun and exciting for our patients and truly care for who they are as people. The mission statement for our practice is to make everything we do for our patients better every day. My staff and I always have this in mind as we welcome each patient and their family.
In addition to drawings and contests for our patients, we also believe in being an active and helpful part of our community. Our practice participates in the Grapevine Parade, Greeting the Troops, and chili cook-offs. We also sponsor many of my patients extracurricular activities, as well as local schools.
I grew up in Wisconsin and have lived in Dallas since 1983. When Im not in the office, I enjoy fly fishing, traveling, and reading a good book. I also believe in helping those in need, and I am a corporate sponsor of the Grapevine/Colleyville Independent School District (GCISD) and am involved with sponsorship activities throughout various area schools. Our office is also the title sponsor for Be Cool, Give Back, a nonprofit charity focused on teaching children the importance of giving. I am also personally a member of the Chamber of Commerce and Lions Club, and a sponsor of the Youth Leadership Program for GCISD.
I have been with Dr. Schroeder since 1999. I was born and raised in North Carolina but have lived and worked in the Colleyville-Southlake area since 1991. I married the man of my dreams and we have four perfect children. While I may have won the Betty Crocker Homemaker Award in high school, if I invite you to dinner you might want to suggest a restaurant. Though Im only in the office a few days a month, the days that Im in the office are precious ones. I really enjoy being a part of creating beautiful smiles for our patients.

Ive been a part of the Southlake-Colleyville dental community for the past 25 years. Ive had the pleasure of building relationships with my patients during their visits as well asoutside the office. Im very excited to be working with such an amazing office and team here at Schroeder Orthodontics. My children, Carson and Ashtyn, were once patients of Dr. Schroeder so I feel right at home.
I love to build and renovate all kinds of things. When Im not enjoying time with my family and friends, I spend time traveling in my renovated school bus with my 9 year oldGoldendoodle, Gibbs. Life is great!

I have to say, I thought I would shop this out. Brand new parents to braces, I knew how my experience was when I had them and I truly thought I was going to have to vet a few more orthodontists but no, I do not. I was so impressed with how thorough the explanation was. So impressed with the technology offered. So impressed with Dr. Schroeder and how friendly and kind he is. So impressed with Caleb who had one of the friendliest smiles I've seen in a long time. We are looking forward to working with them to fix our children's teeth :)

We went there for an appointment on October 31, 2022 at 12:45 pm. Our appointment is at 1 pm. We waited until 1:25 pm but nobody showed up. We are very frustrated and went home for nothing.

Dr. Schroeder's office and staff are one of the most impressive medical operations I've ever been to. Dr. Schroeder explains every detail of the procedures, patiently answers your questions, and he and his team are friendly and welcoming from the moment you walk in the door!

I cannot say enough great things about Dr Schroeder and his staff! I came to Dr Schroeder after I had 2 other consultations with other orthodontists who told me that I was not a candidate for Invisalign-they said I would need traditional braces and it would take 3 years to correct! Dr Schroeder told me Invisalign was possible and here I am just a little over a year later and almost done with my treatment! Dr Schroeder is a master at his craft, and is one of the top and experienced Invisalign providers in the country. He is always available and monitors your case weekly with feedback via scans you send in through an app. All the monitoring is done from your home/virtually so it's so easy and time effective! You don't have to live in the area of his practice thanks to these capabilities! Dr Schroeder's staff is top notch too, very knowledgeable, responsive, patient and kind. Dr Schroeder is very conscientious and dedicated to his practice and I would recommend his practice wholeheartedly!

Update - I am needing some major dental work done and I wanted to make certain it was going to work with my retainers. I made an appointment to go in. Dr. Schroeder and his staff were so helpful and helped me get a plan so I would know what to do. Dr. Schroeder even said he would call my dentist so they could work together. Schroeder Orthodontics is always there for me and every other patient.

After taking 2 of my sons, I started and the service is excellent, facilities and technology is superior, friendliness of staff. I see him regularly during visits, answers questions and is involved with every patient. I recommend Dr Schroeder and his practice.

I spent about a year and a half doing my Invisalign treatment with Dr. Schroeder, and it was definitely worth it. The weekly scans were easy and I could communicate with him as little or as much as I liked. Scheduling in-office appointments was also a breeze. What I really liked most though was that in addition to his expertise, he still took the time to ask and listen to what I wanted to see in my treatment. I also had a problem with an old bond coming off, and he took the time to personally fix it and make sure my smile was what I wanted it to be. I honestly couldn't be happier. Thank you Dr. Schroeder! If you're still around 10 yrs from now, I know where I'll be taking my kid should she need orthodontia!

Dr. Schroeder and his staff are the absolute BEST. I'm at the end of my "Invisalign" adventure and it's been great to be able to use the scanning technology from home -- saves me so much time! Dr. Schroeder is literally at your beck and call -- the state of the art dental monitoring app allows for messaging and instant, fast communication. Dr. Schroeder replies so fast to any concern or questions -- 7 days a week. Seriously could not have asked for a better experience and so excited about my new and improved SMILE!

Dr. Schroeder and his staff are amazing! I got Invisalign braces and I couldn't be happier with the process. Dr. Schroeder uses the most advanced technology so most of the monitoring could done from my home, which was convenient and simple. I was also impressed with the level of care and detail Dr. Schroeder offered throughout the process. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this practice. If you're even considering Invisalign or a any other dental procedure, look no further.

Top notch customer service and very responsive to patient needs!! All three members of my family (me, wife & daughter) are currently seeing Dr. Schroeder for treatment with Invisalign. The service has been outstanding - they explain the treatment plan and take the time to answer all questions (which I had a lot). I felt very informed and included in the treatment plan, which made for a very comfortable decision to use Dr. Schroeder. We are currently 8 months into our treatment and the service has remained excellent!! Also, they use a new technology called Dental Monitoring which has enhanced the Invisalign treatment. Dental Monitoring is a program that allows them to monitor your treatment each week, all from the comfort of your home. How does it work? It is an app you use on your phone to take pictures of your teeth as they move each week. He reviews the photos and is able to customize your treatment. You may speed up or slow down, depending on how much your teeth have moved each week. Furthermore, the app has a text feature which allows you to message Dr. Schroeder directly if you ever have issues with Invisalign. I have used the app 2x to message him outside of business hours (Saturday am & 11pm on a week night) and both times he responded within a few hours. I really appreciate the ability to contact the doctor at all times (even if the office is closed) and to know that he will respond to address my concerns.

I cannot say enough good things about this practice! I have had both Dr. Schroeder himself and Dr. Spady work on my teeth. They have the best mannerism and are very professional but also make you feel at home. I have bad dental anxiety no matter how easy the procedure and the doctors and staff just set your mind at ease and everything goes so smoothly! It truly feels like family how everyone knows my name and all about my own family!! It's only a bonus that my outcome of my smile is everything and more than I expected! I have and will continue to recommend them to anyone who needs orthodontic work!

Hands down, the best Orthodontist in North Texas! I have been a loyal patient for many years. The facility is beautiful, the staff is extremely friendly and welcoming, and Dr. Schroeder is the best at his craft and will always deliver above and beyond what you are expecting!
