After more than 20 years of being an orthodontist, I am more excited than ever to come to work each day. I love the challenge of my work, but the best part of my day simply comes from getting to know our patients. When I help someone attain a smile they are proud of and enable them to gain confidence through that smile, it always makes my day.
For my orthodontic education, I attained my Master of Science Degree in Oral Biology from the Department of Orthodontics in the Baylor College of Dentistry. Since that time, I have published many papers on the growth status of children, as well as craniofacial growth and development. I am also on the Admissions Board for the Residency Program at Baylor College of Dentistrys Department of Orthodontics. In my years of orthodontic education and continuing education, I always strive to know the most efficient and comfortable methods of treatment, so I can ensure that my patients always receive the best of care.
My highest aim in my work is to improve the quality of life for my patients. I enjoy getting to know each person who comes to visit our practice and building friendships throughout their treatment. I am passionate about what I do and always strive for perfect results.
My team is wonderful at what they do simply because they love it so much! We are passionate about making orthodontic visits fun and exciting for our patients and truly care for who they are as people. The mission statement for our practice is to make everything we do for our patients better every day. My staff and I always have this in mind as we welcome each patient and their family.
In addition to drawings and contests for our patients, we also believe in being an active and helpful part of our community. Our practice participates in the Grapevine Parade, Greeting the Troops, and chili cook-offs. We also sponsor many of my patients extracurricular activities, as well as local schools.
I grew up in Wisconsin and have lived in Dallas since 1983. When Im not in the office, I enjoy fly fishing, traveling, and reading a good book. I also believe in helping those in need, and I am a corporate sponsor of the Grapevine/Colleyville Independent School District (GCISD) and am involved with sponsorship activities throughout various area schools. Our office is also the title sponsor for Be Cool, Give Back, a nonprofit charity focused on teaching children the importance of giving. I am also personally a member of the Chamber of Commerce and Lions Club, and a sponsor of the Youth Leadership Program for GCISD.
I have been with Dr. Schroeder since 1999. I was born and raised in North Carolina but have lived and worked in the Colleyville-Southlake area since 1991. I married the man of my dreams and we have four perfect children. While I may have won the Betty Crocker Homemaker Award in high school, if I invite you to dinner you might want to suggest a restaurant. Though Im only in the office a few days a month, the days that Im in the office are precious ones. I really enjoy being a part of creating beautiful smiles for our patients.

Ive been a part of the Southlake-Colleyville dental community for the past 25 years. Ive had the pleasure of building relationships with my patients during their visits as well asoutside the office. Im very excited to be working with such an amazing office and team here at Schroeder Orthodontics. My children, Carson and Ashtyn, were once patients of Dr. Schroeder so I feel right at home.
I love to build and renovate all kinds of things. When Im not enjoying time with my family and friends, I spend time traveling in my renovated school bus with my 9 year oldGoldendoodle, Gibbs. Life is great!

Dr Schroeder & staff are great ! Dr Schroeder is very knowledgeable and addresses any issues/concerns for my daughter's treatment with the upmost care . His staff is always so kind and welcoming and are great at making my daughter feel comfortable with every process

The office staff were so nice and informative. Everything was very clean and neat and organized. The process was easy and well organized and timely. We were able to ask as many questions as we needed to and Dr.Schroeder was VERY knowledgeable. Very pleasant orthodontist. We are very excited to get started on my step daughters plan of treatment. It will be way easier than expected and very affordable! We are 100% satisfied and so happy we found Dr.Schroeder and his crew!

I am a Family Physician in the area and needed orthodontic care, hopefully something that wouldn't interfere with my busy schedule. Dr Schroeder had treated two of my daughters and was highly recommended as a provider of Invisalign aligners. Dr Schroeder has a system that after the initial appointment, x-rays, and pickup of my aligners, allowed me to use my cell phone with his equipment and the dental monitoring app to scan my teeth and monitor my progress under his supervision remotely. I did not have to miss work, follow ups when needed were quick and easy, Dr. Schroeder and his staff were friendly, personable, and professional! My outcome was excellent, the crowding has resolved and I am set for good dental health from here forward! I give them my highest recommendation and a big Thank You!!!

Great experience so far with Dr. Schroeder and his wonderful staff! Completed phase 1 and top braces came off last week and he did such a beautiful job and all while going through a pandemic. Such a clean office, stellar staff and such professionalism with each contact. Thank you so much for all you do!

The office has been great. Had two kids go through the braces process. The issue I have had with the practice has to do with billing. I ended up being charged $1800 more after I had paid in full. Their billing department was transitioning over from an outsourced company to internal. During the outsource I was told that an $900 bill was an error and that it would be taken care of. The office checked my insurance and gave me the numbers, I paid in full for for both kid's first phases. When we went back to do my daugher's second phase, I had told the person signing us up about the whole issue and she said not to worry. I made her swear that I wasn't going to get another $900 bill for this new round, she was 100% positive and I paid in full again. I kid you not, I ended up with another $900 bill! Something was off with Ortho-Fi and the office and my insurance. I was told it was taken care of after getting a letter from Ortho-Fi. Then, about 6 months later I started getting letters again. I dealt with the office several times being told it would be taken care of, including that no matter what "Dr. Schroeder won't make you pay". Then, after the letters stopped again and restarted, I went into the office. I met with the new billing manager and she basically told me that I had to pay. That nothing anyone had said mattered. She was extremely rude and condescending. After dealing with this over and over and getting several letters threatening to mark my credit, I paid. We ended up not using them for my son's second phase, too worried about billing issues. I have no idea how to tell you that what you're told to pay will be accurate and not change after you start treatment. Good luck!

Cannot recommend highly enough -- if there was a rating higher than 5 stars I would be selecting that! My whole family has gone here and we could not be happier with the results and experience. Everyone is so friendly, kind, and professional. If I ever had any questions, I was able to message Dr. Schroeder directly and get a response from him in less than a day, even on weekends. You can tell he truly cares about his patients and is incredibly personally attentive to each one. I get compliments on my smile every day. Go to Dr. Schroeder -- he's truly the best!!!

I cannot say enough good things about this practice! I have had both Dr. Schroeder himself and Dr. Spady work on my teeth. They have the best mannerism and are very professional but also make you feel at home. I have bad dental anxiety no matter how easy the procedure and the doctors and staff just set your mind at ease and everything goes so smoothly! It truly feels like family how everyone knows my name and all about my own family!! It's only a bonus that my outcome of my smile is everything and more than I expected! I have and will continue to recommend them to anyone who needs orthodontic work!

Incredible service and care. His approach to correcting my smile was incredibly personalized and the whole process was smooth from start to finish. My longest relationship is with my 8th grade retainer (I'm 31 now haha) What that means is my smile has not shifted and my bite has been PERFECT for the last 18 years+. If you're going to do it, then do it right the first time and that's with Dr. Schroeder. He's been the go-to orthodontist for the last 20+ years and I'm not surprised to see that he's still the most sought after. His work speaks for itself. 18 years later, I still get compliments to this day!

Dr Schroeder and his staff are extremely knowledgeable, professional, kind, and they achieve amazing results! We first started with a phase one treatment with our daughter, which worked really well. That convinced me to start my own treatment as an adult, with great results as well. Our daughter has now started her phase two treatment, and we're waiting for our son to be ready to start his initial treatment as well. That's how much we trust Dr Schroeder. Also worth mentioning, since we have a family member with an existing condition which puts her at risk for Covid, the remote monitoring has been a godsend since in person visits are reduced to a minimum, thus making all our family safe.
