Schott Family Dentistry strives to deliver friendly, skilled, and honest treatment to support the dental health needs of you and your family.
Dr. Mark Schott has been treating patients for over 30 years and has created a caring environment in his practice. After graduating from LSU School of Dentistry in 1986, Dr. Mark began his general dentistry practice in his home community of Lakeview. Through dedication to the profession, his patients, and the New Orleans area, Dr. Mark proves everyday that he is an excellent dentist who treats all patients like family.
While growing up and watching his father practice dentistry, Dr. Jeff developed a similar passion for dental health care and serving his patients. Dr. Jeff graduated from the LSU School of Dentistry in 2015. After graduating, he elected to join LSU's General Practice Residency for a year of additional training. This program provided him with advanced dental skills and techniques which allow him to broaden the scope of treatment he can offer to his patients.
Tracey has been a hygienist in our practice for more than 18 years. She graduated with honors from Loyola University and lives in Lakeview with her loving family. She has always focused on prevention and gentle patient care during her career.
We know that finding the right dentist is an important decision, and we consider it a privilege to serve our patients. We encourage you to give us a call or visit our practice to meet the team. Our office is accepting new patients of all ages.

My experience today far exceeded my expectations. I've been afraid of the dentist for years, even walking in today my anxiety was through the roof. The patience both doctors showed me today, gave me hope for future visits. Not to mention, the front desk staff was the sweetest. They're also great with kids, I couldn't help but overhear the young ladies in the room across the hall from me. Wish I had found them sooner. If you're looking for a great dentist office, look no further.

Dr. Schott is the GOAT (Greatest Of All Time) of Dentists! I HIGHLY recommend! He fixed dental work my previous dentist messed up. Their whole team is super friendly and personable. I have never wait more than 5 minutes in the waiting room. Their prices are totally reasonable even without dental insurance. Dr. Schott is a total straight shooter and will never recommend services that are not necessary. I got my husband who had a severe dentist phobia to go to him and he honestly came out smiling! I couldn't believe it. We've gone to him over the past 7-8 years and recently moved out of state, but have even considered flying down just to go to the dentist here because they are so great! LOL. Anyways I should have written this review a long time ago because I really appreciate all they've done for my family!

Schott Family Dentistry is fantastic! All of the staff is extremely pleasant and helpful both over the phone and in-person. I recently had an emergency situation and they not only fit me into the schedule once, but twice with only a few hours notice. Dr. Mark and Dr. Jeffrey are a great team and provide excellent care while also explaining the work that they are doing. It's a very collaborative environment and I'd highly recommend them to anyone.
