Marjorie has lived in Dallas for 40 years and has spent 25 of those years working at Schorn DDS. Marjorie brings a hardworking attitude to our front office and enjoys the challenges associated with her position. Wearing many hats in the office, she can occasionally be found assisting one of the doctors or helping out in the lab. She is sometimes affectionately referred to as Sarge Marj because she helps us all stay on time.

Outside of the office, Marjorie enjoys traveling, skiing, biking, hiking and swimming. She can often be found on the weekends working in the garden or on their most recent home improvement project. Marjorie and her husband, Michael have been married 34 years and enjoy spending time with their large extended family and most recently with their new grandbaby Cal.

Everyone is always disappointed to find out that they have a cavity. For some patients they know that they eat too much sugar. Many others think they eat healthy and are confused by how they would have a cavity. Its our job at Schorn DDS to put on our Detective hats on and figure out the source of their sugar intake. In todays world SUGAR IS EVERYHERE! Many companies like to sell healthy foods that are actually loaded with sugar. It is always important to check the labels and look for added sugars. High fructose corn syrup is a fancy name for sugar! I wont lie, sugar really does make things taste better, but we all have to be careful about how much sugar we are eating. Our goal is to help you prevent cavities and get a good check up! I have added a list below of some foods that might seem healthy, but have some sneaky sugars that can cause cavities.
