Dr. David Schonbrun, has worked and trained to build a practice that exceeds your expectations of trusted, personalized dental care in Virginia Beach. He brings his patients the best that dentistry has to offer by keeping himself and his team informed on the latest advances in family, cosmetic and restorative dentistry.
A former naval dental officer who served with the Marines, Dr. Schonbrun received his undergraduate degree from Old Dominion University and his doctorate from the Medical College of Virginia. While at MCV, he was the recipient of the 1990 Award for Dental Excellence in Prosthodontics. To remain up-to-date on the latest advances in his field, he completes many hours of continuing education each year. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association, Tidewater Dental Association, American Academy of General Dentistry and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
Outside of the office, you will find Dr. Schonbrun on the sidelines of his sons soccer games and in the audience at his daughters dance performances. He enjoys attending local car events and talking about classic and performance vehicles. When he has time and the wind is in the right direction, you will catch him at the beach windsurfing.
Dr. Schonbruns top priorities are his patients satisfaction and comfort. He looks forward to your visit to his office and to showing you the positive effects that quality dental care can have on your life.
Schonbrun Dental Care is located minutes from the Virginia Beach Town Center, in the Haygood section of Virginia Beach. The office is within walking distance of the Bayside Library and the Virginia Beach Police Departments Third Precinct. We are here to serve you Monday through Thursday, 8AM-5PM.

Went there yesterday for the very first time and I'm very impressed! Staff was very friendly and sweet, definitely make you feel welcome. I thought I went for an exam only but they took care of my issue right there and then. Dr. Schonbrun did an awesome job and I highly recommend him! Very nice guy.

It was my very first time back in a dental office and Mrs. Angela welcomed me with a warm smile. I immediately felt welcomed and at home! The office is very pleasant and all the staff make you feel accepted and cared for! I met with Dr.Schonbrun, He welcomed me as well and I felt no stress or pressure at all! He talked to me about life and about my dental. He made me feel that he really cares for his patients and wants the best for them!! If you need a dentist this is absolutely the place you should go! This will forever be my new spot to go!

I came to this dentist as referred by United Health Care. I was pleasantly surprised by how good our reception was especially coming in without an appointment. Angela, the dental assistant, Dr. David Schonbrun were an "A" plus team. I felt like I was part of the family or treated like close friend. My wife and i thank every one for a wonderful experience.
