Don't let the beautiful building and chandeliers fool you. This place is like a dental factory with terrible customer service. They are definitely about quantity and not quality. My first visit: Quickest cleaning I ever had and they spent more time taking pictures of my mouth to try to sell me invisilign or whatever product they have. They never even asked me if I wanted that done or explained that that was what they were doing. Second visit: Waited about a half hour and finally asked receptionist how long the wait would be. She said hygenist was running late(which I understand) and it would be another 30 minutes. Said I could re-schedule and re-schedule date was 6 months away. It wasn't even my fault. I stayed and after 30 minutes I was put in a dental chair. Waited another 15 minutes without someone acknowledging me. Got up and left and signed a release for my records to be sent to my original dentist. It is about 2 months now and my dentist still hasn't received those records despite a crazy amount of phone calls by myself and speaking to 2 different people, and having my dentist's office call. And when I went back to my original dentist I probably had the most amount of tartar that I ever have had. Probably from the quickie cleaning I received at Schohare Dental.

I switched to this practice this past year, and have been very happy. I had a family member who had a facial/dental injury and the office was able to squeeze him in EXTREMELY quickly. It was very greatly appreciated, thank you very much.

Dr. Elbialy is the absolute BEST dentist I have ever been to! I would HIGHLY recommend going to him for all your dental needs! He pulled 17 teeth and I didn't feel a thing. Excellent bedside manor. Very caring and excellent work. He takes his time and does an awesome job. Signed, Linda Hall

I am absolutely grateful for this facility and everyone in it. I needed a emergency root canal done in a very short notice. I was able to get an appointment two days after I called. I was in the most pain I have ever felt in my entire life! They got me in, the hygienist are all so sweet and lovely and made sure I felt comfortable the whole procedure. The dentist was efficient and took his time with my procedure but still got it done within a timely manner while having other patients to work on and care for in between. They had helped me out more than anyone has ever! The office is clean and beautiful and all I can say is if you're thinking of going here... just do it.

Dr. Fusco is absolutely amazing with children. He did a wonderful job with my 5 year old daughter today as she needed multiple teeth worked on and she needed to be sedated. His whole team worked hard to make sure my daughter was taken care of quickly but efficiently. He talked her through every step of the way. He also checked to make sure I was ok as well, as a parent does stay with the child during the procedure. I would recommend him to anyone I know that has young children!!

They changed the time of my appointment to a time I can't make. Rescheduled for 7 months time! Patient care and respect are not top of their agenda.

Absolutely hands down the best dentist office in the area ! Absolutely worth the drive from the capital region. they care greatly about their patients. I recommend them to anyone looking for a dentist. I can't say it enough give them a try YOU WON'T REGRET IT

Went in because I had a temperature sensitive tooth, its so bad I can't chew on the one side. The Hygienist that took xrays and cleaned my teeth was very nice and did great work, however when the doctor came he couldn't explain why I was feeling this way and offered no solution. He decided to "adjust my bite" which I had no idea what he meant, he proceeded to drill one of my sensitive teeth without warning or numbing and I nearly passed out from the pain. When I told him how much it hurt and I'd would appreciate a warning next time he stormed out of the room without a word. I wont be going back there.

This is an amazing dental practice. All the staff are friendly and the quality of their work is Excellent. I needed a new crown and they were able to mould and fit it in under a week. Thank you Dr. Elbialy!

I wish a better review could be left but this office violates the biggest thing that's important to me, my time. One can make an appointment, with plenty of notice and plenty of time, and the biggest thing Schoharie dental will fix is any spare time you have in the day. An appointment as simple as a cleaning could result in sitting in the painfully over crowded lobby, thats even if you get a seat, which is highly limited, have seen plenty with mobility issues left with no seating. The next negative is waiting upward of 3 hours + to get a cleaning performed, but if your late to the appointment by more than 15 minutes, their is no issue billing you for a missed appointment. Staff does get stretched very thin, although they do try very hard to be happy and polite, it does break down as the days get later. The office it self is beautiful, and quite pleasant to look at, it does not make up enough in my life to justify the amount of double and triple bookings they do on a daily routine. They have started adding a large addition to the building, which brings bigger concerns of overcrowding clients, equaling in even longer wait times. Once in a while to be as backed up as they are is fine, but this is every single day. Once they finally figure out how to book appointments and manage the overcrowding that doesn't last all day, I will improve this review. In conclusion this was also directly from their own site, which from the over crowding on a daily basis,in my opinion makes schoharie dental a Covid time bomb due to the over crowding and long wait, in the waiting room. From their site. Which is absolutely not true at this time. (THIS IS NO LONGER ACCURATE) Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients. That might mean that you're offered fewer options for scheduling your appointment. Arriving on time and avoiding last minute cancellations will be crucial. We will do our best to allow greater time between patients to reduce waiting times for you, as well as to minimize the number of patients in the reception area at any one time.

We are new to the area and my son needed a check up. Despite being busy, we were seen quickly. The staff were attentive to my son and treated him with respect, as a patient should be treated. Even though hes 2 they kept their focus and attentiveness on him and it resulted in a wonderfully easy visit. Will be bringing my whole family here.

My son absolutely loves going to Schoharie Dental. They have TVs on the ceilings in the pediatric area to help keep them distracted. They are very experienced when it comes to working with children. Very gentle and patient telling them exactly what they are doing to insure the children aren't scared. Thanks to Schoharie Dental, my 3 year old has never experienced a bad dentist appointment and looks forward to going everytime.

Very caring dental office from the moment you walk through the door till you leave. Highly recommend. So worth the hour and 15 min drive I will be returning
