Dr. Dylan Schneider was born and raised in Detroit, MI. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Detroit Mercy with a bachelors degree in biology. He also received his D.D.S. degree from the University of Detroit Mercy, where he graduated in the top 10% of his class and was honored to serve as class president. Dr. Schneider was awarded membership in the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society and the Russell W. Bunting Periodontal Society Award.
Immediately following dental school, Dr. Schneider was selected from a pool of nearly 300 applicants to attend the University of Michigan Orthodontic Residency program, where he was again elected class president. Dr. Schneider trained with internationally renowned experts in all aspects of orthodontic treatment for children and adults including traditional braces, Invisalign, surgical treatment, and cleft palate treatment. Following residency, he worked as an associate providing orthodontic care in a busy practice in Atlanta, GA before moving to Maryland.
Dr. Schneider is a board certified orthodontist and was recently awarded the prestigious Thomas M. Graber Award of Special Merit from the American Association of Orthodontists. This award is given to only three people each year for excellence in orthodontic research, and Dr. Schneider was honored to present his research to the orthodontic community at the AAOs annual session.
