Dr. Katie Staub is a magna cum laude graduate of theUniversity of Maryland Dental School, graduating second in her class. She was selected as a Diamond Scholar during her senior year and then completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency, where she was elected Chief Resident. Katie has trained at the Pankey Institute, studying functional occlusion and mechanics and treatment planning. She has also focused her continuing education on sleep dentistry and is Invisalign certified.
Katie is a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society, Gorgas Odontological Honor Society, and Gamma Pi Delta Honor Society. She is also a member of the American Dental Association, Maryland State Dental Association, and Howard County Dental Association.
Katie grew up near York, Pennsylvania and attended thePennsylvania State University, graduating with a BS in mathematics. Prior to attending dental school, she worked as an actuarial analyst for 10 years.In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, traveling, reading, and listening to music.

I've been coming to see Dr. Katie for about 3 years and she explains everything that is going on, answers all my questions and assures that I am comfortable. ALL of the dental assistants are kind and keep things light hearted even when my teeth are being cleaned!

It's been a few years since my husband and I had dental insurance and could get a cleaning. Dr Katie was so kind and fun to work with. My teeth feel clean for the first time in years and I don't feel nervous about the dentist anymore. The staff is so kind. Also Beebo (I'm sorry if I spelled his name wrong) was super calming and kind plus added the benefit of a facial massage; someone should give him a raise. It was nice to laugh and have such comprehensive care.

Dr. Schneider is the best dentist I have had in my 77 years. He is professional, efficient, thorough ,and welcoming. He recently fit me in on short notice for a gum infection near an implant performed by an oral surgeon . After contacting the oral surgeon to discuss the background of the implant he exrayed the implant and discussed it thoroughly with me. After lancing a small abcess he further explained possible causes of the problem. I was concerned the implant may need to be removed but he explained to me that the implant was not endangered. Whether it be a filling, bonding, crown etc. He has always provided the absolute best care to my aging teeth. Look no further if you are searching for the gold standard in family dentistry. Dr. Adam Schneider sets the bar high and in my opinion exceeds the gold standard. I should also mention that he tried for years to save a nagging tooth for me but as luck would have it the tooth eventually became so bothersome that it had to come out. Responding to an evening call from me, he arranged to see me the next morning to extract the tooth. This was in February 2020 during the pandemic when everything was shuttered!! He was there for me when I needed him at a most inopportune time. This is the dentist you have been looking for. He also has a friendly competent staff supporting him

I am have an extreme fear of dentistry. When I broke a tooth in the middle of the pandemic, I was terrified. I was able to get in to see Dr. Katie Staub a day later. She was very professional, gentle, understanding and comforting. Talking me through everything she was doing and paused to take a break whenever my nerves got the best of me. I went home with a same-day crown. I had to come back twice to get some old fillings redone and found her just as gentle. I highly recommend her to anyone who has even the slightest fear of dentistry.

Dr. Schneider is incredibly knowledgeable about new techniques and thinking on dental preventative care, and dental treatment. Great chair side manor, wonderful conversationalist. His staff is very professional. Highly recommend his practice.

Linda gave me a very thorough prophylaxis and advice about how to improve my dental health. Dr. Adam offered a carefu;l evaluation of my dental situation and is going to meet with me and my wife to talk about what reeds to be done to follow up my tooth extractions by my dental surgeon. I am being advised by two excellent dental professionals and their staffs.

I have been going to Schneider Family Dentistry for over 12 years and they never disappoint! Great staff and fantastic dentists! Even my 3 and 4 year olds enjoy going to the dentist!

My fear of dentists have kept me from going for far longer than I am willing to admit. This was the best experience I could have asked. The whole staff, the doctor, the nurses were genuinely caring. I would recommend this practice without hesitation.

Six months of insurance/billing headache. I checked that they "accepted" my insurance and still received a full bill from SFD. After I called, it turned out they never applied my insurance even though I filled out paperwork. It was my fault for asking them if they accepted my insurance when I made my first appointment and not using the vocab "in-network". They pushed X-rays when I told them I had them done through the orthodontist recently because "my insurance would pay for it". Either the dentist didn't know or lied. Very annoyed that I went in for a simple cleaning (no cavities and healthy bill of health) and it costs me $308.
