Dr. Schmitt is a Prosthodontist, with three extra additional years of speciality postgraduate training, specifically limited to crowns, bridges, veneers, dentures and implants. Dr. Schmitt focuses on the reconstruction and replacement of teeth with a focus on restoring the natural balance to the entire chewing system, both esthetically and functionally. In other words, he handles how the teeth look and also how the mouth functions as a whole.
Raised in Longwood, Dr. Schmitt is dedicated to serving the Orlando community in which he was raised. He and his wife Kim met at Lake Mary High School and have three children, Madeline, Julia and Charlie. He enjoys keeping fit both mentally and physically and pursues many active hobbies, including surfing, playing guitar, camping, and photography.

Update: I have my new temporary smile, I feel me again, they look beautiful, I get compliments all the time from friends and family. I highly recommend Dr Schmitt he and his staff are amazing Great staff, friendly helped reduce my anxiety, Dr Schmitt was very kind, gentle explained everything in detail answered all my questions and had patience with me, I did not feel rushed at all, I'm looking forward to getting my smile back

They charge me $561 just to check my teeth that's it they don't tell me they're going to charge me that much so be careful before you go to this clinic ask first how much can it cost

I had my 1st Visit with Dr C. Scott Schmitt, DMD, MS, pa. today 9/15/22.. I called for an appointment last week and was very fortunate there was a cancellation for today. Receptionists were professional; courteous, friendly they explained everything to me, on my first call so I knew what to expect. My 1st visit felt very welcoming from the moment I walked in I was seen immediately, I was greeted by his Assistant, again very professional, courteous and friendly she introduced herself got me ready to see the doctor. Dr. Schmitt came in about 5 minutes later, he extended his hand out to me and shook my hand, something I hadn't experienced in the six years of healthcare Ive had here in Florida. I have been in Healthcare for 30 years in NYC quality patient care was our top priority, it was our mission. Patient Care! I am happy to say that Dr C. Scott Schmitt, DMD, MS, pa, is the embodiment of that, he is a professional with excellent Quality Patient Care skills, he is friendly as you can see in his video on YouTube. He asked pertinent questions, he allowed me to speak and tell him what was going on with me. Dr Schmitt listened carefully, and countered back every question I had for him with an answer. He was compassionate, and very reassuring. Dr Schmitt examined me, he discussed my patient treatment plan with me. It was so refreshing to be included on the discussion for my treatment plan. He explained possible treatments with me, and said we'd talk about them as we went along with my care. I make this point because in my experience It just rarely seen here in Florida. If you are looking for a compassionate, prosthodontics please come visit with Dr Schmitt, DMD,MS,pa, and his paraprofessional staff you will not be disappointed. Save your self the grief of going from dentist to dentist. I had to go thru three Dentists before I was referred to him. Do the research, and watch his videos they are very telling. What you see and hear is what you get. I am looking forward to my next visit with him. I would highly recommend C. Scott Schmitt & Staff to my family and friends without hesitation.

Where do I begin? As long as I can remember, I have always clenched my teeth at night. Unfortunately, I was a teeth grinder. Needless to say, I have ground my adult teeth down over many years and I actually thought I was going to "out live" my teeth. Knowing this, I knew I had to become proactive to rectify my problem. This is how my dental journey began... and how I located Dr. Schmitt. This was not only a great "dental experience", this was a miraculous full mouth transformation/restoration. From the very beginning of this process, I was treated with the upmost kindness, sincerity, and gentle touch. Each time I went into the office, I was greeted with a friendly "hello"; by Dr. Schmitt and his wonderful staff ... Jacqueline and Amy. Everyone there definitely made me feel special!! Amy and Jacqueline always went above and beyond the "call of duty". All my needs and desires were granted with a smile. The attention, love and nurturing they gave to me was so appreciated! Most importantly, Dr. Schmitt was amazing beyond belief. Not only was he a kind- hearted doctor and soft spoken, he was a "magic maker". His talent and ability to create a "perfect mouth" was truly a work of art. He spent numerous hours studying my teeth, X-rays, and hundreds of pictures to recreate how my teeth looked thirty years ago. Each question I had was always answered immediately. I felt as if I was "heard" and "considered" during each visit. On occasion during this process, I even had a couple of temporary crowns pop off ...which occurred over the weekend. I contacted Dr Schmitt, and he quickly responded. He was always willing to come into the office and fix my problem instantly. (Such dedication). This journey would not have been possible without such devoted, hard-working, exceptionally talented and caring people. Yes, this was a long, arduous, and expensive process.... but worth every penny!! I absolutely have the most gorgeous teeth... thank you to Dr. Schmitt. They use the term "specialist" as a form of marketing. They pride themselves in being aChristian office but it was one of the nastiest and most toxic environments I've ever been in. I had my phone stolen from an employee only area. You might as well keep your wants and cosmetic opinions to yourself bc your wants and opinions will never matter more than the dentists . Save your money and get your work done somewhere else . Save your dignity and go work somewhere else .

Dr Schmit did what my other dentist could not accomplish. He got my dentures to fit snug as a bug. I was so happy after leaving his office today I will be able to eat what ever my heart desires. Thanks to the entire staff.
