I am anxious about dental procedures, but the dentist and the assistants are top shelf professional that put you at ease and tell you about what's about to happen and and are the best in the business. I recommend this office to anyone that's needs anything from a checkup to cavities and crowns.best in the business!

I walked in nearly shaking knowing I was going to have a filling and two caps removed due to decay under these caps I'd had done about 12 years ago. Then they would be recapped. I was immediately made to feel comfortable and the every step explained. Dr Truman could not have been more accommodating, caring, and gentle yet getting the job done. He's THE BEST dentist I've ever had. Staff is great .

I am one that gets anxious at the dentist office. Dr.Crockrell always made me feel at ease. I had my cleaning this week with Kelly, she's always fabulous but I did have a little cavity that needed fixing so I went back today and Dr Truman was terrific! He explained everything beforehand and made sure I was comfortable before he began. I felt calm the whole time, which is unusual and such a relief! I highly recommend Schmitt Dental!

Today was my second experience with Schmitt Dental in Mt Juliet/Old Hickory... and it was totally different from my first experience. Today's visit was GREAT! Kelly did an awesome job cleaning and Dr Truman was personable, professional and seemed truly invested in me as a patient. From the moment I arrived until the moment I left, I felt like I was welcomed, important... and that my presence there mattered. It definitely took me back to all those years when it was Danny Crockarell's practice. Also, I will say that my first visit at Schmitt involved different staff members who are no longer there. Looks like they are really working to get it "right". I would recommend giving them a first chance... or even a second if that's the case.

In a few short weeks, I've had two root canals, two crowns and cleaning. I have found everyone to be extremely professional, kind and understanding which is greatly appreciated. Dr. Dudzinsky is a fabulous dentist and my root canals were pain free. The anxiety about it prior to the procedure was worse than actually having it done! If you are looking for a new dentist, I highly recommend Dr. D and Schmidt Dental.
