Dr. Lindsey Schimp Morris graduated from Vicksburg High School in 2008. She received her Bachelor of Science from Michigan State University where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. She then attended the University of Maryland School of Dentistry in Baltimore, MD. She graduated in 2016 in the top 10 percent of her class as a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. She was the recipient of the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology award and the University of Maryland Community Service Award.
Dr. Lindsey went on to complete a one-year Advance Education in General Dentistry residency at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center where she rotated through general, pediatric, and oral surgery dental clinics. She then returned home to Kalamazoo and joined
Dr. Lindsey believes that continuing education is critical to the practice of dentistry and is committed to providing exceptional care to her patients. She is a member of the Michigan Dental Association, American Dental Society, and the Kalamazoo Valley Dental Society. She enjoys all aspects of adult and pediatric dentistry and above all creating long-lasting relationships with her patients.
Dr. Lindsey lives on Indian Lake with her husband Matt. She enjoys snow and water skiing, biking, golf, reading, and traveling. Lindsey and Matt honeymooned in an RV, traveling to the upper peninsula of Michigan. Let's just say that was probably Dr. Lindsey's last camping trip for a while.
Dr. Jeffrey Schimp graduated from Vicksburg High School in 1973. He studied at Central Michigan University in Biology and Chemistry. After graduation, he went to the University of Michigan School of Dentistry and graduated in 1982.
Later, he worked at Kalamazoo Valley Community College and then joined the dental practice of Dr. Frederick Edison in 1983. After Dr. Edison retired, Dr. Schimp built a solid reputation for himself and has enjoyed the long-term relationships he has formed with his patients in Kalamazoo and the surrounding areas.
Throughout his career, Dr. Schimp has been the president of the Indian Lake Association and a member of the Vicksburg Community Schools Foundation. He is a past president and Lion of the year for the Downtown Kalamazoo Lions Club. He is a member of the Michigan Dental Association, American Dental Society, Kalamazoo Valley Dental Society, and Chicago Dental Society.
During his spare time, Dr. Schimp loves to ski, fish, golf and garden. He and his wife Darci enjoy traveling and spending time in Northern Michigan. He never sits still! Dr. Schimp has enjoyed working alongside his daughter and is proud to have her in the office providing excellent care to our patients.
Cathy is a 1984 graduate of the Dental Hygiene Program at Kalamazoo Valley Community College. She has been a member of our team since 1996! She enjoys her work environment, along with the long-lasting relationships she has formed with her patients. When not at work Cathy and her husband enjoy kayaking, being outdoors, and spending time with friends and family. Cathy also loves crepes and taking their dog Frank for walks - Frank loves to wear sunglasses - What a sight if she could do both at once!
Tory graduated from Kellogg in 2015 with a degree in Applied Science in Dental Hygiene. Shortly after graduation, she joined our team. She is certified in local anesthesia and nitrous oxide administration. Tory strives to make each patient feel comfortable while educating them on ways to attain a healthy, beautiful smile. Outside the office, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, collecting pets, and volunteering. Tory is also a DIY queen. Really, she can make anything.
Beth has been working with Dr. Schimp as a dental hygienist since 2002. Beth and her husband Jon and have three children. Their oldest son is in the Air Force and they love to visit with his family and their four grandchildren. In her free time, she loves to travel, play soccer, tennis, and snowboard. You won't find Beth inside on her days off!
Julie has been a member of our team since 2002. She has been actively serving the medical and dental community since 1993. She has a wonderful husband, Ron, and a beautiful daughter Molly. She enjoys reading, going for walks, playing bingo and soaking up some vitamin D in her hammock. She may also have a slight obsession with Diet Coke. McDonald's is her favorite!
Corie has been a part of our team since 2018 but has been around even longer. She has been a patient of the office since 1993! She wanted to pursue a career in the dental field, so she started working in our office a few days a week back in 2008. Along with continued time spent in general dentistry, she also brings six years of orthodontic experience to our office. In her spare time, Corie and her husband Jake enjoy traveling, kayaking, and spending time with family and friends. Jake and Corie have quads that they love to ride up north any chance they get. Watch out. This girl is fearless!
Lacey has been a part of our team since 2014. She graduated from Kalamazoo Valley Community College. Lacey is married to Lee and has two adorable children: Cameron and Chloe. She enjoys reading, going to the beach and spending time with friends and family. Lacey always keeps the office laughing. She's quick-witted and keeps you on your toes!
Alice joined the team in 2017. After graduating from Ross Medical in 2015, she moved to the Kalamazoo area in 2016. She is married to Kent and has three wonderful children: Olivia, Alex and Anika. In her free time, she enjoys gardening and spending time with her family. Alice raises chickens and has quite the growing flock. The office is always fully stocked with fresh eggs!
Stevie is our sweet rescue Yorkie who stops by the office from time to time to make sure everyone is well behaved! She can be a little mouthy. You may hear a little yelp from the back when she visits.
