We strive to put our patients at easeand it soon becomes clear to even the most apprehensive patients that in this office there is no reason to be nervous. Each patient quickly comes to understand that they are the one in control, that there are going to be no surprises. All treatment options are decided upon by the patient with our help and guidance, in the patients best interest.
Our team is filled with dental care and administrative experts that share many years working together. There is a jovial atmosphere among the staff, a lightheartedness that only comes from working with our friends and doing what we love. Consistent, quality care is our main focus.
In his 20-plus years as a New Hampshire resident, Dr. Schell has built a solid reputation for giving back to the community. A long standing participant in the Give Back a Smile program which provides free dental services forvictims of domestic violence. He is also a strong supporter of programs such asyouth hockey and a volunteer supporter/underwriter for the Upper Valley Humane Society. A perpetual student he also enjoys teaching as an adjunct faculty member at the Dartmouth Medical School where hes sponsored dental elective courses for medical students. Dr. Schell is most interested in complex restorative/prosthetic care, cosmetics and obstructive sleep apnea.
His educational degrees include honors and awards from Fairleigh Dickinson College of Dental Medicine, as well as a residency program through Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons. He has continued to further his education in the various specialties of Dental Sleep Medicine and prosthetics by attending numerous seminars and classes in this field. Dr. Schell has delivered a lecture at the annual meeting of the Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine in Seattle and was asked to representthe academy on a media tour in NYC. He has also lectured on the topic of dental sleep medicine at Brigham and Womens Hospital and Mass General.
Dr. Schell is an avid artist in many mediums including ceramics, sculpture and painting, outdoor adventurer and naturalist. He brings a well-rounded and sensitive touch and eye for esthetics to his profession. When you visit the practice you can clearly see his love of nature, symmetry and beauty abound with many different pieces of art adorning the practice from paintings to sculptures. (Some he even painted himself!)
Dr. Schell lives in Meriden with his wife of 20+ years, Stephanie and their three wonderful children in an antique 1797 farm. Aside from working on the farm (they do their own haying) he enjoys spending his free time with his family, hiking in the mountains, biking and spending time in his studio throwing pottery on the wheel, doing sculpture in a variety of media including marble and painting with acrylic and oils. They have 6 rescue cats, 1 dog, and lots of sheep, chickens, cows, goats and piglets.
Dr. Yazdani joins us as an associate Dentist from Bangor, Maine and originally from northern Virginia. He was trained and educated at Howard University College of Dentistry in Washington, DC where he also worked as a research assistant. He then went on to gain additional residency training in Bangor Maine at Penobscot Community Health Care where he evolved into leadership among his team and into a position as an attending provider. An avid volunteer and community advocate, Dr. Yazdani is both jovial and enthusiastic, as well as sensitive and perceptive. He and his wife Sahar are looking to settle into the Upper Valley and make it their home. Dr. Yazdani is a joy to be around and we all feel so very lucky to have his level of skill and good natured buoyant personality on our team.
Our team is filled with dental care and administrative experts that share many years working together. The office atmosphere is warm and fun. We are more then just co-workers, we are friends. We enjoy what we do and we enjoy working together to do it!

Great family practice! Friendly, efficient, and always taken on time. I always have a great experience here. With my history of several jaw surgeries, I have been to my fair share of dentists and Dr. Schell has been the most thorough and gentle dentist I have ever worked with. Tara is my "go-to" hygienist and she is also very gentle and takes great care - always making my teeth feel clean. 10/10 highly recommend!

Tracey is the best dentist I've ever had my whole life. She knows when to be quick with things or gentle and is extremely good about catering to your needs. I've never met another dentist that was so good and cared so much about their patient's experience.

Needed an emergency extraction. my nerves where threw the roof as usual going to dentist. Dr yazdani was fantastic made sure I was comftorble entire time and was very thorough. Everyone there is great from the minute you walk threw the door from the receptionist to the dental hygienist and of course the Dr thank you schell family for caring

Great team that does a great job explaining their plans before getting started. They are quick and efficient but I never feel like I am being rushed through a conveyer belt of patients like I have at past dentists. The dentists actually take a moment to look you in the eye and discuss your dental health instead of just popping in as a voice behind the chair and then disappearing again.
