Dr. Scheer was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. He moved to Nebraska after graduating from SLUH in 1982. He completed his undergraduate studies at Creighton University in 1986, and graduated from the Creighton School of Dentistry in 1991 where he received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery.
Dr. Scheer has maintained his solo practice for 28 years and enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, especially cosmetic dentistry, implant restorations, and Invisalign. He is very proud of the lasting relationships he has made over the years and listens to patients to provide them with the custom care they desire.
Originally from central Nebraska, Jocelyne joined Scheer Family Dentistry in October 2008. In addition to her front desk duties, she handles the accounts receivables, files insurance claims, works with insurance companies for dental benefits, and is a general all-around problem solver.
Tonya has been a dental assistant for 25+ years. She loves being able to help people feel better about their smile and themselves. When not in the office, she loves spending time with her husband, three girls, going golfing and being outside.
Born and raised in Fremont, Judy brings 30+ years of hygiene experience to Scheer Family Dentistry. She graduated from the University of South Dakota with a B.S. in dental hygiene. Judy enjoys being a hygienist and forming relationships with patients while educating them on their dental needs and concerns.

Partial dentures fill in missing teeth when some natural teeth remain and complete dentures replace all teeth. Partial and complete dentures are made to resemble your natural teeth, so there should be no noticeable change to your appearance. In fact, partials and dentures may even improve your smile!
This restoration method is used to restore smile and mouth function if all teeth have been lost. The complete dentures are custom created and natural looking. They function in place of your original teeth. Complete dentures are removable and may require adjustments in order to create a proper fit with the gums and mouth.
Dr. Scheer received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Creighton University in 1991 and has proudly served the Fremont Ne. area for over 25 years. Dr. Scheer is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and participates in the American Dental Society annual meeting and training courses.

Our family has been going to Scheer Family Dental for 25+ years! He has been our kids only dentist and they were never frightened to go. In fact, our daughter used to get excited! That just goes to show how caring and tender the entire staff is. We also find the on-time appointments so important. Thanks for the great service!

I highly recommend Dr. Scheer's practice. Everyone who works there is always kind and easy to work with--from secretary, dental assistants, hygienists, and Dr. Scheer himself. I've been coming here for over 10 years and in that time I've had everything done--crowns, root canals, fillings, and cleanings. They are always efficient and try their best to be on schedule. I have had no issue getting work scheduled and when needed, repairs have been prompt and billing fair. I can't recommend this practice enough if you're in the area and need a gentle, intelligent dentist!

I am in the medical profession and will often recommend Scheer Family Dentistry to my patients . I am confident they will receive excellent care as Dr. Scheer has been my family's personal dentist for over 15 years. He and his clinical staff are very professional and kind. They are able do many things in house, which makes it much more convenient and cost effective for patients. The treatment is definitely top of the line. As a side note- I don't think I've ever sat in the waiting room more than 10 minutes, which allows me to easily plan the rest of my day!

I used to hate going to the dentist when I was a kid. Hated it! Then, around the age of 10, my family started taking me to Scheer Family Dentistry and that changed everything. Everyone is so polite, professional, and friendly. This includes the receptionist, hygienists, and of course, Dr. Sheer himself. What used to be dread and apprehension in going to the dentist, has actually turned into something I look forward to! Their dental care is the gold standard, and I love catching up with everyone on my visits every 6 months -- especially talking sports with Dr. Scheer! If you want the best dental care for you and your family, Scheer Family Dentistry is the way to go!
