For nearly 20 years, Dr. Patel has maintained dental excellence in providing advanced oral health solutions such as dental implant procedures, cosmetic options and full-service general dentistry. He has received CEREC training, orthodontic certification and a Preferred Provider status with Invisalign. A humanitarian at the core, Dr. Patel has a strong passion for reaching out to those in need within our community, and proudly participates in the Dentistry From the Heart program each year.

Dr. Patel opened Schaumburg Dental Studio in 2004, seven years after completing his dental degree at the University of Illinois. Although he initially pursued a PhD in Engineering, Dr. Patel was discouraged by the isolation of pure research, and found joy in the hands-on, social, and charitable work of dentistry. In his practice at SDS, Dr. Patel combines a strong background in Material Science, love for people and his community, as well as an initiative for positive action.

Dr. Patels commitment to patient care is manifest in his use of the latest dental technologies, and the cultivation of an educated and caring staff. In addition to receiving his Orthodontic Certification in 2009, Dr. Patel has also done extensive research on TMJ and sleep apnea oral appliances. He holds his assistants and staff to the same standards, personally providing training in services and procedures that encourage them to take ownership over their work and grow as professionals. This also allows him to devote his attention to greater dental and business challenges while maintaining a higher standard of care.

For Dr. Patel, SDS is ultimately a gesture of goodwill towards his community and the world. Since immigrating to the US in 1976, Dr. Patel has been extremely grateful for the opportunities he has received in this country, and appreciates the diversity of experiences found in the Schaumburg community. He has now lived in the Western suburbs of Chicago for most of his life. Through the quality of his dental practice and charitable activity, Dr. Patel hopes to be remembered for his selfless, positive impact on society.

As our Operations Manager, Lizette coordinates the different teams at SDS. Lizette knows everything that goes on in our office, and makes everybodys business her business. In addition to being a dental assistant for four years, Lizette is also certified in coronal polishing, sealant placement, orthodontics, and is our whitening expert.

Lizette is the liaison between Dr. Patel and the rest of the staff, articulating his visions for the office in a more coherent, comprehensive way. Lizette is, in many ways, Dr. Patels right-hand man, and proudly leads the SDS team according to his example of altruism, care, and integrity. What she likes most about her job is organizing lots of moving parts into a master plan, which is why Lizettes favorite movie is Oceans 11.

As a child, smiles were the first thing Tania would notice about a person. As an adult, she is passionate about helping people achieve the brightest, friendliest, healthiest smiles possible. After graduating from Harper Community College in May, Tania excited joined the hardworking team at SDS in their mission of excellent patient care. Her tenacity is exampled through her favorite show being Greys Anatomy which she has kept up with for all 11 seasons.

Claudia graduated from Northwestern Suburban College in Dental Assisting. After three years verifying insurance at a dental office, the world of dentistry piqued Claudias interest so much that she decided to make a career out of it. In fact, she has learned so much from Dr. Patel that she likes to think of herself as a mini-doctor. But she is still a kid at heart, and can't decide whether she likes Aladdin or Lion King better.

As our friendly Sterilization Technician Timothy ensures all of our instruments exceed OSHA Standards and everything is fresh for you when you come. He will greet you with a warm welcome as you pass through his work area in the heart of our office. He has been with Schaumburg Dental Studio since June 2016 and has quickly became a very great asset to team SDS with his super positive attitude and detail to customer service. He is a graduate of Elgin Community College with a degree as a Certified Dental Assistant. In his free time, he enjoys reading Joel Osteen and Goosebumps books, attending local community events, family gatherings, making new friends, bowling on my weekend league, and taking care of my immediate, extended, and Schaumburg Dental Studio family.
