Raised in Shalimar, Florida, and attending Choctawhatchee High School, Dr. Kevin Schambeau completed his undergraduate studies at Florida State University in Tallahassee, FL. In 1995, he received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Alabama, School of Dentistry in Birmingham. Upon graduating, Dr. Schambeau was commissioned as a Lieutenant in the United States Navy Dental Corps. He served one year at Bangor Submarine Base in Silverdale, Washington and three years at Camp Lejeune Marine Corps Base in North Carolina. Dr. Schambeau and his wife Stephanie Norris Schambeau, from Haleyville, AL, returned to Alabama in 1999, which allowed them to live closer to their family and friends and to pursue their dream of opening their own private practice.
Dr. Schambeau stays current with the profession he loves by being a regular attendee of local dental meetings and national conventions. He is always looking for ways to better serve his patients and make each patient's visit the best visit possible.
Kevin and Stephanie live in Hoover, AL and have three children, two dachshunds and two cats. They are active members of Hunter Street Baptist Church and have traveled to Ukraine as part of a Medical/Dental mission trip. Kevin's hobbies include golf, water & snow skiing, traveling, and spending quality time with his family and friends.

Very great place to go I was scared and not wanting to get my dental work done but I did and I was treated and happy with all of it I healed up fast and no more pain for me thank you all at schambeau dental

Wonderful!!! Not only did Dr. Schambeau take such good care of my Sweet heart, but the staff there is amazing and helped us get everything taken care of so we could get my hubbys teeth pulled and have him free of the pain he was in. Doc came and talked with me afterward and made sure I knew how to take care of him at home too and he is such a nice man. I am so glad we decided to use them because they are awesome!!!!

Allison (dental hygienist) was very gentle yet effective. It is the 1st time I've had my teeth cleaned I didn't feel like my face was ripped off. Highly recommend! I have a huge fear of dentist/dentist office- and she made me feel comfortable and confident in what she was doing - and was gentle. Great staff and all very friendly and helpful!

This Dental Office has it together! They are friendly, professional, and compassionate. What more could you ask for? From the moment you walk in you are treated like royalty. Their concern for you is very obvious. I can't imagine any other place I would choose to go for my Dental needs. I Highly recommend to all my friends and family to see Dr.Schambeau Thank you again
