Dr. B. Patrick Schaefer graduated from the Marquette University School of Dentistry in 1988 and has received advanced training in orthodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, implantology, and CAD/CAM dentistry. Dr Schaefer utilizes his multidisciplinary training in providing a comprehensive approach to a wide variety of restorative cases. Over the last 30 years, he has developed a large group practice in Lansing, MI, and recently expanded to 2 locations the Okemos and Howell area of Michigan. He mentors young dentists and focuses his services on endodontics, oral surgery, implant dentistry, and restorative procedures. Schaefer Dental Group also hosts implant days, which provide dentists from around the country opportunities to view and learn implant placement and grafting techniques. He also hosts continuing education classes in his training center for his staff, dentists from around the world, and dental members in the local community.
Dr. Moore has been with our group since 2005 right after she obtained her dental degree. After graduated from Haslett High School in 1996, she went on to earn her bachelor degree in Biology from the University of Toledo in 2000 and completed her DDS from the Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 2005. Dr. Moore loves getting to work with a great group of people here at Schaefer Dental Group. She enjoys practicing general dentistry on people of all ages, meeting and getting to know them at a deeper level. Dr. Moore takes pride in helping patients establish a dental home where they feel comfortable and confident about the treatment they are receiving. Her philosophy is to treat her patients like her family. She often says her family is her passion. They are huge sports fans and love cheering on the Spartans, Tigers, and Lions. In her free time, Dr. Moore is rather busy chasing after her three kids or running a taxi service to their various extracurricular activities! Fun Fact: Dr Moore played four years of college basketball at the University of Toledo and played in two NCAA tournaments.

I still hold to the fact that Schaefer Dental Group is the best dental family. I was afraid you I might get after my former dentist retired. But now I am highly satisfied. I love their massage chair.

Very professional and great staff. You're always welcomed with a big smile and friendly hello. My wife and I also just took our daughter in and they were so patient and caring with her. If you don't have a dentist, I HIGHLY recommend this office.

Because I'll be traveling out of state soon this office kindly arranged for an appointment to fit me in. Dr Ferraro and his assistant took great care and pride to make sure that the crown replacement fit perfectly. They were great!

I have been using this office for a couple years now. The front desk is amazing, they are so helpful, and always greet you cheerfully. All of the hygienists and dentist are super great at what they do. You are in and out! As painless as dentistry can be.

I have been a patient for several years. They have always provided excellent service with a sincere concern for my overall dental health. I have had serious issues which have been dealt with and I am extremely happy with the results. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

Have been a patient of the Okemo practice long B4 the Schaefer Group took over and thing's continually improve. Not to diminish the original practice in the least, cuz it was always @ the forefront of the latest advanced procedures but it's real assuring to witness that the Schaefer practice continues to be on the leading edge of advances in the dental field. This was my first time having my annual oral films done with the newer computer digital technology! Also had the opportunity to observe one of the newer hygienists being trained in technique & felt honored to be the patient observer. My education background coming out! Life in the Dental realm continue to improve! And feel blessed to B a patient of the Schaefer Dental Group!!
