Dr. B. Patrick Schaefer graduated from the Marquette University School of Dentistry in 1988 and has received advanced training in orthodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, implantology, and CAD/CAM dentistry. Dr Schaefer utilizes his multidisciplinary training in providing a comprehensive approach to a wide variety of restorative cases. Over the last 30 years, he has developed a large group practice in Lansing, MI, and recently expanded to 2 locations the Okemos and Howell area of Michigan. He mentors young dentists and focuses his services on endodontics, oral surgery, implant dentistry, and restorative procedures. Schaefer Dental Group also hosts implant days, which provide dentists from around the country opportunities to view and learn implant placement and grafting techniques. He also hosts continuing education classes in his training center for his staff, dentists from around the world, and dental members in the local community.
Dr. Moore has been with our group since 2005 right after she obtained her dental degree. After graduated from Haslett High School in 1996, she went on to earn her bachelor degree in Biology from the University of Toledo in 2000 and completed her DDS from the Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 2005. Dr. Moore loves getting to work with a great group of people here at Schaefer Dental Group. She enjoys practicing general dentistry on people of all ages, meeting and getting to know them at a deeper level. Dr. Moore takes pride in helping patients establish a dental home where they feel comfortable and confident about the treatment they are receiving. Her philosophy is to treat her patients like her family. She often says her family is her passion. They are huge sports fans and love cheering on the Spartans, Tigers, and Lions. In her free time, Dr. Moore is rather busy chasing after her three kids or running a taxi service to their various extracurricular activities! Fun Fact: Dr Moore played four years of college basketball at the University of Toledo and played in two NCAA tournaments.

Great group of dentists. I have bad anxiety when I go to the dentist, but I feel more at ease the more I go. They give shots that do not hurt and are very helpful with TMJ.

The staff are very nice and professional. The dentists are very knowledgeable and always do such a great job. I was informed of what to expect after every appointment. Drs Schaefer, Saeung, Ferraro, and others are all awesome at the work that they do.

Had a tooth about to fall apart. Went in today for a crown prep. Dental assistant was great, but I came away with a bruised lip with the skin missing inside. The dentist knew I was numbed and leaned on my lip too much and too hard.

They always do great work! Who would ever think you could enjoy a dentist appointment, well it's possible. Everyone is so friendly and personable. They answer any concerns I may have. They ask me if I'm okay during procedures and never fail to make me laugh. I actually just went again today. I still stick with my previous statement. I will add that Doctor Moore, treated me today and my family and I previously used her father for our family dentist. 4 of my children go there too and they feel like I do. .

I ALWAYS love my visits. The staff is friendly, thorough, and quick to get me in if I have an issue.. I recently took my 3 year old in for a cleaning and they were so amazing as they worked with her. She left with a smile on her face as well, I would recommend this dentist office to anyone!
