Dr. B. Patrick Schaefer graduated from the Marquette University School of Dentistry in 1988 and has received advanced training in orthodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, implantology, and CAD/CAM dentistry. Dr Schaefer utilizes his multidisciplinary training in providing a comprehensive approach to a wide variety of restorative cases. Over the last 30 years, he has developed a large group practice in Lansing, MI, and recently expanded to 2 locations the Okemos and Howell area of Michigan. He mentors young dentists and focuses his services on endodontics, oral surgery, implant dentistry, and restorative procedures. Schaefer Dental Group also hosts implant days, which provide dentists from around the country opportunities to view and learn implant placement and grafting techniques. He also hosts continuing education classes in his training center for his staff, dentists from around the world, and dental members in the local community.
Dr. Moore has been with our group since 2005 right after she obtained her dental degree. After graduated from Haslett High School in 1996, she went on to earn her bachelor degree in Biology from the University of Toledo in 2000 and completed her DDS from the Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 2005. Dr. Moore loves getting to work with a great group of people here at Schaefer Dental Group. She enjoys practicing general dentistry on people of all ages, meeting and getting to know them at a deeper level. Dr. Moore takes pride in helping patients establish a dental home where they feel comfortable and confident about the treatment they are receiving. Her philosophy is to treat her patients like her family. She often says her family is her passion. They are huge sports fans and love cheering on the Spartans, Tigers, and Lions. In her free time, Dr. Moore is rather busy chasing after her three kids or running a taxi service to their various extracurricular activities! Fun Fact: Dr Moore played four years of college basketball at the University of Toledo and played in two NCAA tournaments.

Seen on time. Friendly receptionist, hygienist and check out staff. Great dentist. No problems with billing. Affordable when insurance does not cover. I have been a patient since 2019.

If you have dentist anxiety this is the place to go. Dr. Schaefer fixed my tooth when other dentist told me I needed a root canal but I only needed a filling.

Dr. Kyle pulled two of my teeth and put implants in. Absolutely no pain. I couldn't believe it. He is best dentist. I highly recommend him.

I saw Dr. Kyle for severe TMJ issues, and he was able to order me a custom device to wear in my mouth to help with my jaw cartilage staying in place and reducing the TMJ pain. Pretty pricey but worth it! Dr. Kyle is really great. Definitely would recommend him!

I had implants done at West Highland Dental done by Dr Hanson and paid over $10,000 for snap in implants , went back to Dr Hanson to have them fixed because they wouldn't snap in and he told me to Glue them in, why would I have to glue them in when they were supposed to be snap in implants so I went to Schaefer Dental to have them fixed since Dr Hanson wouldn't do anything about fixing them and found out that Dr Hanson had used implants that had not been used for years so Schaefer Dental went out of their way to accommodate me and fix them so they snapped in, the Dr and staff are very friendly and will go out of their way to make sure you are taken care of, Thank you to everyone at Schaefer Dental

This is the place to go for a great dental experience and super friendly staff. The assistant Britt was extremely professional. The Dentist kept it light and friendly but was incredibly attentive and did a great job. I had to get a crown replacement and I must say this is better than the original. My teeth and smile have never looked or felt better! Thank you.

I absolutely loved the service that Dr. Kyle provided and even had other dentists comment on how perfect a job the surgery was! Easy in and out with the help of staff. Quick recovery and VERY minimal pain, no stress! Can't always say that when visiting your dentists office, can you? I definitely recommend his services and that of the Schaefer Dental Group staff.

Had fillings and implant done today. Friendly environment, clean and professional staff. Dr. Kyle was great very informative about what was being done. The dental hygienist Stephanie is AMAZING!!! Best hygienist I have ever had take care of me. I will definitely keep coming back.
