Dr Ballard is a graduate of St. John's University in Queens. She then completed her DMD degree at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine School of Dentistry in Tampa. She completed a one year residency at Flushing Hospital in Queens, NY. She is a member of the American Dental Association and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.

Dr Schaefer is a graduate from SUNY Stony Brook. He completed his DDS at Georgetown Dental School. He is currently the director of the Dental Department at Flushing Hospital. He and his wife, Dr. Anne Schaefer, successfully ran Schaefer & Schaefer dental office for the past 30 years at this location. Dr Mark looks forward to further serving his loyal patients and the Maspeth community.

Can not say enough amazing things about Dr. Ballard and her staff. They were super professional and everyone was so nice! I have been looking for a dentist I like for years and am so happy I found Dr. Ballard. I was able to make an appointment for the next week! I will be recommending her to my family and friends!

I needed an emergency root canal due to excruciating pain and Dr Ballard and her team took care of everything in less than 2 hours. Between when I first called and when I was walking out they were all very professional and took fantastic care of me. I can't thank them enough for what they did for me! Definitely will be coming here from now on!

Dr. Ballard provides a fantastic experience from the time you arrive until you leave. Starting with a great location and ample parking to the fresh new equipment. The staff is super friendly and Dr. Ballard makes sure you are as comfortable as possible. Highly recommend!

One of the nicest dentists I have ever been to in my life! Dr. Ballard is extremely knowledgeable, patient, and keeps you calm during your entire visit! The staff is wonderful, all new equipment and EMRs! Highly recommended for all!
