Dr. Scasta is happy to be practicing in the Brazos Valley! He is a fightin Texas Aggie class of 93- WHOOP! Dr. Scasta received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Science and then went on to attend the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston. While attending Texas A&M, Dr. Scasta met his wife, Dr. Tracey Scasta, O.D. They were married in December of 1994. The Scastas welcomed their first daughter, Hallie, in 2000 and their second daughter, Becca, in 2003. After Becca was born, the Scasta family made their move back to College Station and are very happy to call Aggieland their home. In 2018, Scasta Family Dentistry and Scasta Family Eye Care brought both of their practices under the same roof to better serve the patients of the Brazos Valley.
Dr. Scastas interests include the integrated fields of TMJ, dental sleep medicine, and occlusion. He has completed over 1000 hours of specialized training in TMJ disorders, orofacial pain, and dental sleep medicine. He completed a mini-residency in Temporomandibular Disorders and Orofacial Pain at the UCLA Dental School in Los Angeles, California in the summer and fall of 2011. He also completed the mini-residency in Dental Sleep Medicine at UCLA in 2009.

I've been with Dr. Scasta a few years now & thus far have been pleased with their service. They put you at ease when you walk into the office. My hygienist, Jan is an an absolute angel. She noticed a problem with my gums from my first visit & has been vigilant in handling it & making treatment suggestions to Dr. Scasta. A Specials thanks to her, Dr. Scasta & his wonderful staff!!! Keep up the good work!!!

This man knows his "stuff". Kind, competent and well educated in TMJ . I feel he will provide me with the very best solution of easing the pain of TMJ and treat the apnea in the process. How fortunate we are to have him in BCS

If you are reading this in hopes of finding a dentist, do not look any further. Dr. Scasta and his entire staff are easily the kindest, most honest, and friendliest team out there. If you are afraid of the dentist, this is the perfect place for you. Or if you just like supporting kind, nice people who care about their patients.

Kind and patient. Generous in adding comforting techniques if you are anxiety driven during dental experiences or pain sensitive. Referred to him by an ENT specialist for a mouth guard and well recommended by the oral surgeon who extracted my broken tooth. Dr. Scasta performed a beyond exceptional job of replacing the extraction with an implant. Best dental hygienists in town- hands down! Gig 'em!

AMAZING.....amazing Dentist and amazing staff! Everyone was over the top nice and so kind! They took their time and listened....did not feel rushed and they were so caring and gentle. Brought me a blanket and a heated pack to put on my neck so that I would be more comfortable. So thankful that we found such an amazing dentist!

I love this dentist office. They are always so nice and friendly. I have never had a bad experience and no matter who helps you, it will be amazing. Courtney at the front desk is so kind and courteous as well. Plus the facility is so clean and beautiful. They even have massage chairs which was amazing. I'll never go to another dentist office. Craig & Crew What a nice experience after this 1.5 yr plus absence from "the chair". Your prior work held up well on this old horse and it was a welcome return to your happy, competent office.
