Dr. Cox has always loved the science of making things more beautiful. This is the main reason that he was drawn to dentistry, and it continues to be his favorite aspect of dental work. Dr. Cox earned his DMD from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (now known as Rutgers University School of Dentistry). He went on to continue his education in the US Navy, completing a one year Advanced Education Residency in General Dentistry. During his residency in Norfolk, Virginia, Dr. Cox gained valuable clinical experience in all aspects of dentistry, including implants, sedation, root canals, and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Cox was awarded the FAGD (Fellowship of the Academy of General Dentistry), a prestigious designation achieved by only 6% of dentists, and he is one of the youngest dentists to receive this award. Dr. Cox worked in Westchester since 2008 and has maintained a thriving office in Scarsdale since 2011. His dedication to Continuing Education and his proven passion for dentistry is what makes him a great choice for all of your dental health needs. If I could give 10 stars I would. Dr Cox and the staff at Scarsdale Smiles provide the best care I have even had. Dr. Cox replaced some old front caps and veneers--and suggested changing my gum line to get taller-looking, less-square teeth. His advice and work was everything I hoped for. The color, the shape and size look so natural people don't know I have had work done. I've repeatedly had complete strangers compliment me on my teeth. Even though my cosmetic work is done, I cant imagine going anywhere else. I drive up from Manhattan to see this great team.

My husband & I have been going to Dr. Cox since he began Scarsdale Smiles. He & his staff are extremely professional, the environment is very clean & pleasant, but most importantly, Dr. Cox truly cares about the oral health of his patients and everything is state of the art. His dental hygienist, Tara, is a wonderful asset and is incredibly thorough. His entire staff is exceptional. I highly recommend Dr. Cox for the best dental health care in Westchester.

My dental work was pretty extensive. Dr. Cox throughly explained his plan and procedure at the beginning. Thalia, Rina, Tara and Amy.. everyone in this office is so very nice and professional. Bright office with comfortable dental chair. I never fell asleep while getting dental work done before..lol. I love the way my mouth looks and feels now. Dr. Cox and his team are my dentist of choice. Thank you!

Every person working in Dr. Cox's office is courteous, friendly and professional. They really take the time necessary to do everything right. When I was a new patient, they took the time to get to know me and my family. Now my entire family of 5 goes to Dr. Cox. Some visits can make me nervous, but they are always calm and walk me through everything that is happening and make sure I am comfortable the entire time. The office is very modern, clean and bright. Great dental experience time after time!

Been going here for years and couldn't imagine going anywhere else. Hands down the best staff around. They all sincerely care about you and I haven't had a single bad experience from the years I've been going. The new location is also veryyyy nice and clean.

Tara does an incredible job cleaning your teeth. She is thorough and gentle. Dr. Cox is always available and takes the time to deal with you needs. An easy 5 stars!! Dr. Cox and his team are exceptional and make you feel like part of their family! Dr. Cox did a great job. He takes the time to listen to all of your questions and concerns and is happy to explain the process in great detail to put you at ease. Whatever the nature of your visit, you're treated with the highest professionalism and expertise to make it a good experience. The new office is great and his staff is always professional, friendly, and attentive while going over everything, or simply catching up on life during your appointment.
