Dr. Snisky is a full-time practicing periodontist and implant surgeon. He is a graduate of Fairfield University in Connecticut where he received his Bachelor of Science. He earned his dental degree from the Columbia School of Dental and Oral Surgery in New York City.
During his studies in dental school, he distinguished himself in the field of periodontics. At graduation he received the Divisional Award of Excellence in Periodontics as well as the Pierre Fauchard Award. Dr. Snisky was immediately accepted into the postdoctoral periodontal program at Columbia where he earned his certificate in the specialty of periodontics. He has since passed the board certification process to become a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology.
Dr. Snisky is committed to providing his patients with the latest techniques in dental implants and periodontal plastic surgery. He has gained extensive experience through his affiliations with the prestigious Pankey Institute as well as many other professional organizations in which he is a member.

I had surgery across 6 of my teeth and Dr. Snisky was fantastic from start to finish. He was extremely professional and friendly, as were the nurses and front desk team. I actually got excited for my post op check up! Highly recommend consulting them for any issues and you can expect top notch results.

I had surgery on Thursday afternoon by Dr. Shackner and his assistant. They were wonderful. Made sure I was comfortable, keep checking on me during the surgery. I was pleasantly surprised at how warm and friendly their office was and staff. Thanks for fixing me up. See you in a week.

Highly recommend Dr. Snisky and would refer to a friend. He made me a night guard to help with teeth grinding. The staff was very professional and answered all the questions I had.

Dr Snisky is amazing. I went to him with terrible grinding and jaw pain issues and he made me an appliance (bite plate) that had my front teeth touch first to deflect the pressure away from the back teeth. Changed my life. I was in so much pain. Thank you Dr.
