Elicia has been working in dentistry for over 16 years and she earned her Dental Assisting education from Portland Community College graduating in 2001. She loves helping people and seeing them smile. If you have dental treatment, Elicia will be the one of the faces that will help assist you in your procedure. In her free time she enjoys boating, crafting, gardening, and exploring the outdoors with her family.
Sheri is the Office Manager at Scappoose family Dentistry. She has been in our office for over 16 years and in dental field since 1989. Sheri is committed to building relationships with all of the patients at Scappoose Family Dentistry. Her main focus is to ensure you have a great experience every step of the way.
Courtney grew up in St. Helens and loves the small town feel. Before becoming a Dental Hygienist in 2019, Courtney was a Dental Assistant for five years. She enjoys getting to know her patients on a personal level and prides herself on making her patients feel completely comfortable. In her free time, Courtney enjoys outdoor activities, spending time with family and taking care of her chickens, donkeys and cows.
Kayla has lived in Columbia County for 16 years. She was a Dental Assistant prior to getting her Hygiene License in 2017 from Portland Community College. She enjoys making a difference in her patients oral health. In her free time, Kayla loves spending time with family and friends. She enjoys getting outdoors, camping and traveling.
I started my journey to be a dentist in 1993 in Indonesia, and finally finished it in 2013 at OHSU in Portland, OR. I graduated from OSU in 1998 as a Nutritionist, and Portland Community College in 2000 and 2004 as Dental Assistant and Dental Hygienist.
My credentials include IV sedation certification and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). I am also a member of Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) as well as American Dental Association (ADA), Oregon Dental Association (ODA) and the local dental association chapter. These organizations help me keep up to date with dental advancements and technologies, as well as dental regulations.
I worked with the previous owner of Scappoose Family Dentistry from November 2004 to July 2009 as a Dental Hygienist, before I went to OHSU for Dental School. It has been a privilege to take care of the people here in our community. It was a blessing to be able to come back and serve this community again with the same staff and patients.

Fantastic customer service. Appointment booking is a breeze and they're not scheduled months out which is a major plus. I had a full tooth extract done here. Instructions were clear, the process was very simple and was explained to me clearly ahead of time.

Absolutely the BEST dentist and staff. We love you all!! We have gone here since moving here in 2003. They have our absolute trust and confidence. This is our way of saying goodbye to a wonderful group. We have moved to AZ. Will SO miss you. God bless.

These guys are amazing. Everyone here from the hygienist to the receptionist were so nice. The Dentist was so attentive and listened to all my concerns. The hygienist gave me a very thorough cleaning and had many recommendations to help make my good routine perfect. Highly recommended. to the one star review nobody will work on you without xrays. They are liable for what they can't see and without xrays they can't safely start any treatment.

By being honest and upfront about finances, she was able to offer alternatives for treatment that made it possible to maintain a healthy smile. The same thing with the hygienists. When they are really good doing the hard work of cleaning my teeth I tell them and it goes a long way in talking about what may bother you.

If you have any anxiety about the dentist, this is the place to go! I have been to many "top places" in Beaverton that deal with dental anxiety and they were horrible! DR. Sunny and the team were so amazing with me and the only ones to get the work done that has been causing me pain for years!!

My 1st time there and I set up an appointment specifically for a routine cleaning. The receptionist was very nice. The hygienist took me to the room and explained the order things would be done. I asked if I HAD to get xrays done, that's when the hygienist gave me attitude asking "SOOOOOO where are they?", when I told her I had them recently done. Ok, fine, I'll get xrays. Then she proceeds to tell me I may not get cleaning done today which was my whole point of visit. If I was told that up front when I made appointment it wouldn't have been a big deal. So between that and the attitude given over xrays, I decided to leave. I walked out and the hygienist FOLLOWED me out yelling "Any place will make you get xrays!!!!!!". Thank you. That was not the point. The attitude and not getting what I asked for done was the issue.

I've been going to this dentistry office for almost 30 years. Professional, courteous, kind, efficient, and flexible. It's so nice having Sunny there again, and Sheri is top-notch in the office as well. True professionals!!!!!

The staff here was incredible. My first visit there was amazing and I will be going here for a long time. Jenny was great explaining the process and was very gentle with my cleaning. My teeth have never felt better. Doc was also very funny.

I got IV sedation for my impacted wisdom tooth. It's the best experience I ever had. It was painless and I recovered very well without any complications.
