Dr. Scalia('The Doc') has been practicing dentistry for over 30 years. His professional staff includes a blend of youth and experience. Our objective developed through the years of practice is to educate both patient and staff. We believe the key to a successful practice is education. The field of dentistry is changing and progressing constantly, therefore it is crucial that both theDental Health Teamand patient continue to adapt and learn together.
We moved into our current office in May 2007, built from the floor up with all new and up to the date technology. We have the comforts of home with TVs in each room and small play area next to the hygiene room for the little ones.

I'm 57 years old and has had my fair share of dental procedures including root canals and crowns. I was referred to Dr Scalia by a trusted friend and was absolutely delighted by the staff and the facility. Dr Scalia has a fantastic bedside manner explained everything thoroughly and it was the best dental experience I have had in my entire life! I will be referring Dr Scalia to everyone I can. Absolutely the best in the business I was lucky to be connected to him and grateful for his treatment

Who likes going to the dentist? If you're reading this, you might just think I don't, who does? Well I certainly don't, but If I have to go, my 1st. choice is Dr. Scalia in South Barrington. All I can say is, I highly recommend Dr. Scalia and his team. When you 1st. walk into his waiting room, you are greeted with a smile. His state-of-the-art office is fantastic! It's a great comfortable atmosphere. They have portable TVs everywhere, even at your dentist chair. Usually sports center is on, but if you like to watch something else, just ask. I have been going to Dr. Scalia for years. Sure, I can go to any dentist out by where I live. Dr. Scalia's office is a good 35 minutes away. What brings me back every time is his staff. Their attention to detail is off the charts. Nicole is one of the Best hygienists, I have ever had. While getting your teeth cleaned, she actually talks you through the process, and educates you at the same time. Its something we all should do keep up with dental hygiene, right. I'm 57 have had 2 stents installed in my clogged arteries, approximately 4 years ago. I was recently told one of the causes of clogged arteries is all the calcium build up. The plaque that forms on your teeth is the same type of plaque that builds up in your arteries and causes heart disease. Plaque buildup in your arteries becomes a serious problem when the buildup of plaque on the walls of your arteries narrows them and restricts blood flow. A complete blockage can cause a heart attack. Dr. Scalia in my opinion is the Best, and it should be yours as well...
