Dr. Foster earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Howard University College of Dentistry where she graduated in the top 10 of her class, served as Student Council President, Community Service Chairperson, American Dental Education Association ADCFP fellow, and received the Dental Student Summer Research Award which allowed her the opportunity to study at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) through which she won numerous awards for her work in the areas of craniofacial research.
Dr. Foster completed a two-year residency in Pediatric Dentistry at Virginia Commonwealth University where she focused on the dental needs of infants, adolescents, teens, and patients with special health care needs. At the completion of her program, Dr. Foster was awarded a Master of Science degree in Dentistry for her research project entitled Oral Health Status of Children enrolled in the Child Health Investment Program of Roanoke Valley. In 2011, she was awarded Diplomate status by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, which is the highest honor achieved by a pediatric dentist.
She is a member of the Texas Dental Association, Greater Houston Dental Society, National Dental Association, Charles A. George Dental Society, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Southwestern Society of Pediatric Dentistry, Houston Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, International Association of Tongue-Tie Professionals and the American Laser Study Club.
Dr. Simone Gainey is a native of Houston, TX, and a graduate of M. B. Lamar High School. After high school and throughout college she worked for the YMCA in childcare. She completed her undergraduate studies in 2004 at Texas Southern University with a BS in Biology. Following the completion of her BS degree, she enrolled in the Alternative Certification Program with Alief ISD and the University of St. Thomas. She was an educator in Math and Science for 3 years prior to pursuing her dreams as a dentist.
Dr. Gainey attended Dental School at Meharry Medical College in Nashville, TN. While in dental school, she was awarded the National Dental Association Foundations Colgate Palmolive Scholarship and The American Dental Society of Anesthesiology Horace Wells Senior Student Award. After graduating in 2012 she returned to Houston and continued her studies. She completed a two-year General Practice Residency at The University of Texas Health Science Center Houston.
During her time in Houston, Dr. Gainey worked with medically compromised patients in need of organ transplants and special needs adults. She was awarded the Best Resident Award during her first year and Co-Chief Resident during her second year. Following the completion of her residency, she worked in community health at Good Neighbor Healthcare Center.
Dr. Gainey completed a two-year residency program at Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center where she focused on infants, children, adolescents, and patients with special healthcare needs. While in residency she participated in a mission trip and provided dental treatment to patients in the Dominican Republic. Dr. Gainey was awarded Chief Resident along with Outstanding Leadership in Dental Outreach, and she earned her certificate in Pediatric Dentistry and is board eligible.

Regina and Dr Gainey were very pleasant and helpful! Loved our experience here today. My 7 yr old son was very comfortable and didn't complain once. They were friendly, knowledgeable and he even got an animal balloon at the end lol. Great experience.

I'm so happy that I found this dentist first the welcoming is so happy and comfortable also they knowledge me and my kids if u have everything done on line you will get seen asap....love them place when its time they protect us with temps b4 going to back and make you mask up love it ...Just want to say thank you Dr Foster and Antoinette its one more lady she from Florida sorry forgot yo name she slim and red very nice they are very straight forward with us....to protect from bad teeth....thanks again Will send more pics soon

We had a wonderful experience with my 2 year old! The staff was super friendly and great with kids. She was able to get my daughter to cooperate with minimal tears involved! Antoinette did a great job with her brushing and flossing, and made a great balloon animal to finish the visit!

Everyone was very nice, accommodating and patient. This was my son's first dentist visit and they made sure to explain every step that was taken with him before doing it. The experience was very personable. Most definitely recommend.

Toyi and Dr. Foster were amazing. This was our first visit, and we were nervous about what to expect. Our daughter is autistic and has sensory needs and the staff made us feel so welcome. They made sure that our daughter was comfortable and went above and beyond with examining her and explaining everything to us. Everyone is so friendly, we will definitely be back!

Not a good experience with the doctor and staff. I never recommend this place to anyone. They even missed things which was found and fixed by another dentist.

I took my toddler in for his first dental appointment and it was wonderful. Staff was very friendly and professional. Loved all the compliments on how laid back my child was but truthfully it was how comfortable the staff made him feel. The only complaint I have is the waiting area is really small so I had to stand for a short time until seating was available. Other than that I have to say I will be returning in 3months to have another wonderful experience.

I was so excited about taking my daughter here and supporting a black woman in this profession, however, the receptionist was so incredibly rude when I was setting up an appointment today, so I decided to go elsewhere. I don't take chances with lacking professionalism when it comes to my healthcare.

My daughter and I had a great experience here! They are so patient and kind to the littles--this is my daughter's first positive experience in a dentist office! She was so happy and brave with her cleaning...they understood the assignment! Toy was great with my daughter. One hundred percent recommend!

I am so thankful that we finally found a dentist and staff that are beyond amazing! Dr. Foster has the personal touch, compassion and expertise in what she does. Raquel made Grayson's dental experience uneventful and very pleasant and she accommodated his needs all throughout the visit. Raquel was very gentle and sweet to my son.We had a terrible dentist visit last year with another dentist and this time Dr. Foster and Raquel made sure it won't happen during this visit. They eased not just my anxiety but most especially my son's anxiety. I almost cried because I couldn't believe that my son was not having a meltdown during the entire process. If you are a parent of kids with Autism I highly recommend Say Ahhh and search no more!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The dentist was honest and straight forward. I have been to other dentists that exaggerated what my children's needs were in order to make more money. So it was a relief to find a dentist with integrity. My children will be coming here for all future dental needs!

Ms. Toyi was patient and amazing with my autistic child while she did his cleaning. Dr. Foster was also sweet kind and gentle talking him through the procedure! I'm glad I found this place. I recommend them to any parent that wants good kind and friendly service with everyone in the office!

Brought my daughter in to have a tooth pulled a few months back. They would not back off on trying to sedate her. My oldest daughter has had teeth pulled for braces and never once did any dentist tell me they would need to sedate her to pull her teeth. I declined the sedation and they really tried to make me feel guilty for not doing it. They also will not allow you to stay in the room with your child while they're getting their work done. I will never bring my children back here or recommend that anyone brings their child here.
